Student: At the concert, my mom was teasing me about how she thinks *boy* and I are a couple. But I'm dating *other boy*! Can you believe it?
Me: *gives boy a measuring look* ...well, you two would be cute together.
S: *yelps* Miss S!!
Me: I'm just teasing! *laugh*
S: *stands up, hands in fists, pouting* You're lucky you're the teacher, or else I'd...I'd...
Me: *cannot help myself* Big words from the girl who falls out of her chair on a daily basis.
S: *is torn between charging at me and laughing her head off*
Another student: *jumps in between us* Don't attack the teacher! It's bad for your grade!

Happiness :D

Honestly, today...I feel awful right now. My stomach's in knots, and I think I still have a few remnants from last night's glorious headache DX But I've got too much to do to sit around and mope! We've got contest tomorrow, and the concert's on Tuesday...

I did pretty good with the challenge yesterday. Got way more done than my minimum word-count, and I'd like to keep it that way. [livejournal.com profile] lwyn was nice enough to keep prodding me via AIM about my word-count and how far along I was. It does help to have a buddy! And the community has been buzzing, so they're really supportive, too! It all seems very fun so far :D

I've also decided that I really like the method I'm going with--primary focus is on my MKR fic, but I'm doing a bunch of one-shots as well to break up the monotony and keep myself from getting bored. Which means [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100 and [livejournal.com profile] 100fandomhell will undoubtedly be seeing some updates in the next four months.

All right, off I go. There'll be a post in a little bit--fandom #31 for [livejournal.com profile] 100fandomhell. Ciao!

...you could count it? *gg* It would put you a little over the minimum daily word-count to get to 150K in the 123 days. You can do it! *is counting one-shots, ya know*

*sneeeeeeerk* That's always the fun parts~ And actually, I like to read their reactions to the movie because ahahaha. I've watched it so much and I still love every second of it but seeing people who never seen it react is like the best thing ever.

Because it is evil! *pokes* If you get on AIM later, maybe I can help you figure something out for [livejournal.com profile] summerwrite? If you're doing fanfiction, we have a community and group for it, and I'd welcome you into it.

Well, actually, I just poked group 10, the misc group to see if I can hang with them because... uh. My stuff tends not to have a real category and I want to work on one of my already-started original stories, so...

Yup! The first day, they all went "NUUUUU!!" at me and begged for one more song. The second day, a couple of them tried to physically stop me while a third tried to steal the remotes so I couldn't stop it--so I reached up and turned off the TV manually *laugh* Wonder what'll happen today!

But I think even some of them are surprised by how much they're getting into it. And I'm rather happy to see it--it's great to see them getting into something that's more or less a classic.

That's cool! z(^o^)b I'm still available for poking, prodding, and idea-bouncing, if you need it ^___^ I decided that my main focus is going to be this MKR story, but I'm not going to stop on my one-shots either. So I foresee that I'll be posting a LOT over the next four months.

...I should post my Phantom of the Opera story ^^;;

And people always ask me why I say I would never hate having kids. Kids are like a breath of fresh air in a lot of ways.

Also, you obviously need to show musicals in your classes more often. IF ONLY THEY HAD A MOVIE FOR JEKYLL AND HYYYYDE~

I like kids--my middle schoolers are always energetic and keep me on my toes. Do I get frustrated sometimes? Absolutely, but overall? Most of them are good kids, and they tend to make me laugh.

Umm...there is a movie for Jekyll and Hyde. (http://www.amazon.com/Jekyll-Hyde-Musical-David-Hasselhoff/dp/B000I2J6YG/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1209742701&sr=8-3) Starring the Hoff. It's not bad, but I don't think I could show that to my middle schoolers XD

LOL, nothing quite like seeing the Hoff flipping between Jekyll & Hyde at the end...I was convinced...and shocked that the Hoff had it in him.

I know! Overall, I was terribly impressed with his performance, but that scene was pretty much amazing. And the girl who played Lucy was incredible!
