*waves energetically at everyone* I'm here! I'm home! I have to share internet again! ... *cries* But anyway, yes, made it safely and in one piece and with all my stuff in tow x_x

FRIDAY: Took modem back. Parents got here around seven. Went to Bonanza for dinner. Many lulz were had, courtesy of my father...well, being himself XD Came home. Cleaned and threw lots of things into boxes. Lost consciousness well after midnight. Did not sleep well.

SATURDAY: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOMMY! Woke up TOO DAMN EARLY. Drove Dad out to get the moving truck. Nearly got lost on the way back, but not quite. Mom had already brought a bunch of stuff out to the curb. Apparently she had to chase some guy away who thought that all the stuff in taped-up, marked boxes without price tags piled on the lawn was somehow a garage sale, and got snappy when Mom told him to leave. Worked with parents and hauled my entire LIFE out to the truck. Including the Couch of DOOM that weighs as much as a small elephant. Checked out of apartment. Drove home. Was nearly ill because of the heat and exertion. Unloaded all of the stuff I was keeping in my room. Aunt came down to help (Aunt is wonderful, wonderful person). Treated family (and Aunt) to Subway for dinner. Set up computer. Wrote for a bit. Lost consciousness shortly thereafter on unmade bed.

SUNDAY: Slept in until NINE AM! :D Took rest of worldly possessions out to storage area and...well, stored them. Dropped off moving truck. Ran a couple of errands with parents. Had Culver's for lunch with parents. Ran a couple more errands with parents. Came home to unpack. Haven't gotten as much done of that as I would like ^^;;

...yeah. There's my weekend in a nutshell. Have already gotten into an argument with Bug (I figure I might as well use my sister's actually nickname on here. Especially because she hates it *cackles*), but am otherwise relatively comfortable to be back at home.

I'm writing again. There should hopefully be a nice slew of updates within the next day or so--I need to get back on the wagon with

summerwrite. Aaaaaaaand

ETA: I love my family. So much.

We had dinner out on the back porch, and Bug and Dad were inside while Mom and I were still sitting at the patio table. And we heard the following exchange happen inside the kitchen...

Dad: Bug! Who's nacho-chimichanga-frijole-taco things are these and how long are they going to sit in the fridge?
Bug: ...those are eggrolls.
*outside, Mom and I are laughing so hard we have tears in our eyes*

This ranks right up there with the time Bug and Dad argued over a toilet overflowing...

Dad: Why is the toilet jammed up?
Bug: I don't know why!
Dad: Probably because there's crap in it!
Bug: NO, REALLY??
