It's kind of silly. I would go to work, and while at work I would think about fun things I could or should post about on LJ when I got home! Then I would get home, and get to my computer and be like, "Blah. Too much work." B-but I'm making a post now, yesh!

So anyway, 2009 is almost upon us. The last year of the...zeros? Aughts? Pre-tens? WHAT THE HECK ARE WE CALLING THIS DECADE? Tomorrow night, we're going out to dinner with my aunt and uncle, and my cousin and her husband. Yay fun~

I don't work tomorrow, so I get to have super-fun busy day doing totally frivolous things, yay! I have found that posting my lists here help me accomplish things because then I feel stupid if I don't cross anything off. So here, have a list!



~ Take the ornaments off the Christmas tree (...okay, this is for Dad, so it's important XD)
~ Post rest of NaNo fics on candyfics (note to self: BACKDATE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD)
~ Get Year in Review thingie updated with said new fics
~ Catch up on comments (S-sorry... *fails at this)
~ Outliiiiiines (springwrite starts on Thursday, and I have plunnies!)
~ Get various other things in order, etc.
~ ????
~ PROFIT



And finally, back around Christmas I was thinking about this awesome Boxjam Doodles comic that I always found amusing. And I thought I would share the sentiment with you (although I can't find the link and am being lazy). I shared it with bishonen_girl, and nearly wound up with a faceful of sprayed soup for my troubles :D

Basically, the idea is that it's all a rip-off. Think about it: he was born at Christmastime. He gathered a small group of followers. He was persecuted by those in power. And he left, with a vague promise that he would come back "someday."
