kaitodoushi and I went out on a mission: to get a new Nintendo DS for each of us. Since both of ours have been dying by inches, we thought we could just go together. Her house is on the way for me ^_~
One thing we wanted to do was transfer our IDs over to the new DSes so we could keep our wireless IDs and our friends' codes. We got there (visit #1), looked around for a bit, and then went up to talk to someone. The salesguy who was helping us was actually pretty awesome. He said that if we wanted to do that in the store before we handed over Kat's old DS (since she was trading in), then we could.
It was then that we realized we didn't remember exactly how. So we said we'd be back and raced back to my house to get the instructions from the Nintendo website. Then we went back to the store (visit #2) and got a new DS each--they had exactly two red ones left, so we lucked out BIG TIME on that. I also got a game that I'd been wanting (yay for used!). Much happier and much poorer, we left with the intention of heading out into the world to do evil.
We got about four blocks away when Kat's phone rang. Since she had paid by check, they had her phone number on it. They had called her house, and her dad then called her to let us know that we needed to go back to GameStop...because they forgot to put my game in the box for me.
VISIT #3. I think I actually walked in and said, "Hey, we're back!" Got the game, and off we went.
So today's plan for my day off is to clean and work out. Want to pick up my room and tidy up the bathroom, and do at least two of the Jillian Michaels workouts. Maybe more, I don't know. But if the fit of my clothes is any indication, I might actually be down a size!
