Random observation about my hair: if I wash and flat-iron it at night, and then sleep on it, it looks fantastic the next day. It's perfectly straight, and it holds the style all day without the aid of hairspray or anything. I don't know why, but I like it!

Today I had the day off. Since next week I'm going to be in Illinois, I figured that from now through Tuesday I need to pull a little extra on the exercise ^_~ So today I did three stints on the Jillian Michaels workout. I was aiming for four, but after the third one my body said, "Let's go surf the internet for a while now, sweetie. Okay?" And I said yes.

One week from today, kaitodoushi and I will be in Illinois to hang out with lwyn, YAAAAAAY! I talked with Dad, and it looks like we're going to be leaving early. Like...roll out of bed and into the car at probably a quarter to four AM (at the latest) to get to the train station. Yay for sleeping on the way there, eh? Kat, this is why you're staying over at my place on Tuesday night.

I actually already started my packing list, just because I don't want to get to the night before and realize that I'm missing something ^^;; Plus then I can make sure I have laundry done and get electronics charged up and whatnot. I also really need to see if we have a backpack laying around here that I can use as a carry-on. I also picked up a bigger purse for the purpose of this trip~ I liek purses :3

I also need to put The Graveyard Book on my mp3 player so I can listen to it...and decide which books I'm taking with me. I went to the library the other day, and I have a selection. Picked up (on various recommendations) the first Artemis Fowl book, the first two books of The Dark is Rising sequence, the Darkangel trilogy (aishuu, you prat ♥), and a volume with the first four books of the Young Wizards series in it.

AIMING TOO HIGH? ME? NEVER.

And finally, expect some fanfic in the next few days, before I leave. I know I'm taking my Neo with me on the trip, but I'm finally starting to write again. I'm about a third of the way done with my next fandom for 100fandomhell, hopefully to be finished in the next day or so \o/

*goes back to lemon pudding and listening to music*
