Curse you, winter!

Around three o'clock this morning, I was still awake because my throat had decided that it was going to start hurting very, very badly. It's really raw and sore. After I did truck at work, I ran up to the pharmacy and grabbed a bag of cough drops and spent most of my day sucking on 'em. We're not really supposed to eat stuff while we're working, but Manager never says anything. I think he saw me unwrapping one anyway, so he probably knew what it was that I was popping like a junkie.
All things considered? I usually get nailed during cold and flu season--weak sinuses suck. So if all I get is a bad sore throat, I'll consider myself the victor over evil winter! o/
Okay, so...I got Pokemon Platinum today. And the strategy guide. Running joke between![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kaitodoushi and myself is that since she got the guide for Diamond/Pearl and let me borrow it, I should be the one to get the Platinum guide and let her borrow it. Here it is, love! *drops the novel-sized guide in your lap* Seriously, it's over six hundred pages.
But anyway, so I went to GameStop to get it because I knew they had a thing where if you got the guide (twenty bucks) and the game (thirty-five bucks), you saved ten percent on the guide. Not much, but hey, savings are savings. The other thing was that I decided to go ahead and trade my old DS in, since I got my Lite.
Long story...not quite as long?
I got the game and the guide for eight bucks and change.
LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU WANT TO BORROW THE GUIDE, KAT :D :D :D
ETA: Further proof that Kat and I live in each other's heads! We were discussing video games on MSN, and we both, at the same time, with no prompting to lead into it, said "I saw the preview of the new Legend of Zelda!" Followed immediately by identical reactions of "Get out of my head!"
