*whimpers and curls*
May. 7th, 2009 10:57 amSo on Tuesday, my stomach starting hurting. A lot. Like...I thought I was going to be sick. Then yesterday, oddly enough, I was totally fine. And then this morning, I wake up to once again feeling my tummy doing nice little loop-de-loops and otherwise flipping me the finger. I curled up in bed for a while, and it seems to have calmed down, if only for the moment. At least I don't have to work today, so if it comes back, I can lay back down.
Speaking of work, I counted out my first scrips yesterday, whoo! \o/ The pharmacist I was working with handed me the bottle and said, "Can you count out fourteen of these?" So I did. And I labeled the bottle and everything! Silly, but dammit, I'm excited!*makes a drug dealer joke*
I also got to do my HIPAA training. Or at least part of it. They sent me upstairs to do it on the computer. I hadn't realized that there were, like, four different sections to it. I got through two and started the third before they paged me to come back down. Still gotta finish the other two AND do Meth Training, which is apparently all about Sudafed. But yeah, HIPAA is the big federal privacy law, and the whole of the training modules basically restated the same half a dozen points over and over again. It's like, "Okay, I get it! Don't tell anyone about anything!"
But hey, it made the first two hours of my shift go by very quickly, and I likes that ^___^
Otherwise, I had a really weird dream last night. Of angels and demons and pharmaceutical things. To be honest, it's sort of fuzzy. I know I was at work. I was waiting on a customer. But there was something weird about the customer, and then someone said that apparently I didn't know that the customer (can't remember the name) was actually friggin' Satan, and then I think I woke up for a couple seconds when there was thunder, which is odd because thunder never wakes me up...
Goodness knows I'm not a spiritual person, so I'm not entirely sure where that came from. So I'm just going to write it off to the fact that I've been watching and reading and plotting for a lot of scary stuff lately. Fatal Frame, Scratches, Silent Hill series, I'ma looking at you *glare*
...and I had a plunnie last night for a game that has absolutely ZERO FANDOM. And that game is Scratches, a horror game for the PC. A game that actually freaked out my sister, oh she who is afraid of nothing. Seriously. There's nothing on ff-dot-net, on LJ...even my mighty Google-fu has failed me on this.
Will hopefully be posting at least one fic later. I also added a couple of icons on
candyfics.
kaitodoushi is awesome and said she would make me a Coraline icon (why has no one made an icon of the movie poster??), so that will get uploaded once it's done *mwah* Adoration for you, chere!
