Once again, the weather is a BITCH!

According to the weather 'round here, we're supposed to get hit with some freezing rain tonight, possibly leaving as much as a quarter-inch of ice all over the place. Then the snow will come. And according to the good ol' Farmer's Almanac (by which my late grandfather, a farmer for many years, used to swear), we're supposed to get nailed with twenty inches of snow between tonight and Sunday.

This means that the snow mountain outside work ("affectionately" dubbed Mt. Hy-Vee by my father, who wishes to put a mini-ski lift on it as a joke) is going to get even taller. Once the weather clears, I need to take kaitodoushi over to the parking lot and take a picture of it with her standing next to it for reference.

Just glad I don't have to work tomorrow *thumbs up, yo*

I'm sort of proud of myself--been keeping healthycandy up to date for almost a week! *i-is generally a giant flake of flakiness and all, yesh* I know I'm down in terms of weight. Checking in daily on Wii Fit has proven that \o/ First weigh-in on Thursday, let's see what happens.

Don't know if I mentioned this or not, but I'm really hitting this hard because Kat and Rach and I are going to see Beauty and the Beast (the stage show) at the Orpheum on March 21st, and my goal is to be able to buy myself a pretty new outfit from the Normal People Sizes and wear that outfit to the show. Yay for having goals!

Finally, I have finished fics, including two new fandoms for 100fandomhell. They just all need...serious, serious revision. I get the feeling that after a four-month hiatus, it's like I'm...out of practice XD

All right, should probably head to bed.

Ewwww~ That sounds horrible. The weather, that is. You mentioned all of the things I hate from mother nature, except sunlight. I used to like all that (minus ice) until I began to drive. =/ Driving spoils everything for me nowadays.

I'd rather have twenty inches of snow then have so much as a drop of ice. Snow at least will sometimes let you get some traction. Ice is not so forgiving >_>;;

I know this does not compare but the weather has been a bitch here too. There has been so much rain and wind that is scary driving to and from work since it's such a long drive and there is some flooding. *sigh* Can I haz sunny day but not hot just pleasantly cool?
