So. I woke up this morning and my eye was all red and gunky and gross. It had been a little bit bloodshot, but I figured that it was just time for a contact lens change or I poked myself or something. And then this morning I'm practically something out of a horror movie, my eye is so red. So my manager was nice enough to let me leave work for a bit to go to the doctor.

Good news! I've got pink-eye! And I'm still contagious! *runs around and licks everyone*

Haven't had this since first grade. But hey, at least now there's a prescription on my file at work that is NOT a flu vaccine. That's pretty cool, right? I have eyedrops to make my eye unsick! \o/

Did I mention that my glasses chose today to break? Here's hoping the superglue will hold for the few days I have to be wearing them instead of my contacts... *crosses EVERYTHING*

I have tomorrow off. First weekend day I've had off in a month and a half - I know because my manager asked, and I counted. I worked six weekends in a row. I generally don't mind it, but...it's nice to be able to sleep in on a Sunday now and then, ya know?

Speaking of work...between me losing weight (down sixteen pounds and 3.5 inches so far!), getting my eyebrows waxed (was seriously overdue), getting a new labcoat (also seriously overdue), randomly deciding to wear my hair down AND straighten it, and just general good moodness...I think a few of my coworkers are convinced I have a secret boyfriend I'm not telling them about *laugh* So if he doesn't exist, does that mean I get to make him up? Let's see, he looks like Johnny Depp, earns a six-figure income... *shot*
