candylandHad a seven AM work meeting this morning. They have one every quarter for the full and regular-time employees at my place of employment. It lasted a little under an hour. This means that between tomorrow and Friday I'll probably get sent home a bit early so as to avoid overtime 8D
Speaking of which, I'm going to start looking for a second job. Just something part-time to put towards getting my damned student loans paid off. I think we figured that if I worked fifteen hours a week at minimum wage, it would almost cover BOTH my minimum student loan payments...which I could then put towards my smaller loan. Mom and I made a spreadsheet last night, and if I did that, I'd get it paid off a whole lot faster than I am right now. Wish me luck!

raerae639 and Jack-Jack, and we went out for breakfast. It was a good time...although I feel a little bit unloved when I walk into Rae's house and two-year-old Jack-Jack comes running towards me with a bit smile and a wave while saying, "Hi, Kathy!" ...my name is not Kathy XDD Kathy is our OTHER friend. Yeah, feeling seriously unloved here *laugh* Actually, I think he might just sort of call all adult ladies Kathy. My little cousin did that - for a while, everyone was either Grandma or Ashley.
Dropped Rae and Jack off, and went and grabbedkaitodoushi. She's leaving for Texas on Saturday, and she'll be gone 'till the eighteenth, so we wanted to finish Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories before she left. We had two boss battles and one world left to do on the Reverse/Rebirth story.
And finish the game, we did! \o/
Not a bad game, really, although the fighting system is made of suck and fail. It's a KH game - we want to run in and mash buttons until whatever's in front of us dies! Strategy shouldn't come into it! Riku's story felt like padding and an excuse to put in more cut-scenes of Org members. All in all, though, we had fun with it...and the faint thread of homoeroticism that seemed to run under a LOT of the dialogue, if you tilt your head and squint ^^;;

So yes, another game marked off as complete on the ol' Backloggery!
...once upon a time all I did was watch anime, I swear. WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?
...all in all, I'd say that thus far, today has been awesome except for the seven AM meeting. It puts a tiny bit of a damper on things - heck, anything that requires me to be up before dawn qualifies as suck - but otherwise, today has been glorious! \o/
And finally, have you all seen this commercial? Or this one for the same product? Seriously, I will buy this product for the commercials, and I'm not usually swayed much by advertising. But this was just too bloody awesome :D BEST TAMPON COMMERCIALS EVER!
