Twister fun :)

candylandYuppers, new layout. Thought it was time to give the ol' LJ a brand new look. Pretty!
Well, I wrote out an entry last night, but the site froze up on me and I was too lazy to type it out again at that point. So here we go again *crosses fingers*
Sometimes it's fun to just throw responsibilities and such to the byway for a while and have some fun. Like last night--I merrily walked away from my homework and other assorted 'things to do' and went to hang with my pals for the evening.
The servery here closes at seven, but then there's this thing called the Snack Bar that opens. Each student gets yay number of dollars (I think it's twenty-five...) to go get greasy but tasty snackage after hours. So last night, we came down as a group (me, Vixie, Sage, and John) to get food. There, we ran into Leisha and David, and we got a couple orders of chicken strips and cheeseballs, a large amount of ranch dressing, and plopped down at a booth to pig out. Ain't it great?
We then got into a mock-game of Spin-the-Bottle with Vixie's empty Frappucino bottle. No real kissing involved--although David did pretend to make out with a stack of napkins, and Vixie gave me a big kiss on the cheek when she spun and it landed on me :P But otherwise, we were just goofing off. Poor David, though--every time he spun it, it would land on either John or Sage--heehee! Well, at some point during this little game, somebody (probably Vixie) suggested rather forcefully that we should go play Twister (it's one of the games in our dorm).
So we ended up in one of the closed lounges and dove into the game. It got pretty damn interesting. David discovered plentiful new ways to fall over while making funny noises. Vixie screamed at several intervals that she had a butt-cramp (oh, the humanity). Sage, balancing all his weight on one hand while his legs were splayed on dots at odd angles, screaming at me to 'SPIN, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! SPIN THE WHEEL!!!!' Oh, and the lovely moment when Leisha ended up with her butt sticking straight up in the air, and Dave and Vixie had their heads by her butt. They made faces, and we took a picture. I haven't laughed that hard in ages.
I eventually scurried back to my room, took a shower, did a little more homework, and crashed. But it's so awesome when you can just forget about stuff for a while and go play. Who says adults can't play? It was a great time, and I think we need to do it again, to all my wonderful friends who are reading this. It was great! Thanks, guys!
