A philosophical question...

candylandI pose this philosophical question to my fellow Conan fans, and I'm looking forward to the responses. So here is my thought: Conan is seven years old in body, but seventeen years old in mind, right?
...so how do age of consent laws apply in this situation?
Because my understanding of such laws (and I could be wrong) is that they are to protect those who are not emotionally ready to have sex. But if he's mentally and emotionally seventeen, then by law he's technically old enough. As I askedjeva_chan, wouldn't you just love to be the judge in that particular trial? "It's not child molestation, your honor! He's of age!" *headdesks*
