A slight epiphany...

Okay, got through The Talk with PK all right. I was sure she was going to ream me about the fact that I had the tenors standing behind me, but she didn't. See, we wound up in a set-up that I wasn't anticipating with the piano right in the corner, so I was boxed in on two sides. So I had to adapt quickly, and she gave me brownie-points for that. All in all, she seemed pretty pleased with my work.

She also thought it was funny how I handled something. There was one part where the guys kept messing up the rhythm, and I kept correcting them. After about five or six mess-ups, I told them that we were going to sing it again, and whoever messed it up on that attempt would owe me a dollar. Suddenly, they sang it perfectly =)

Fall finale of Ghost Hunters is on tonight--they're investigating a castle in IRELAND!! *excitement*

And...I had an epiphany earlier, when I was walking in the hall with Leah. I think I mentioned this once before,but my grandmother was found to have an aortic aneurysm along with needing a double by-pass. So she's having massive open-heart surgery...on Friday.

And it just hit me today. I might very well never see my grandma again. I nearly started to cry again.

Dammit...
