I got tagged over here by [profile] axtar. I've done this once before, but it's still fun. Here's the meme...

Reply and I'll give you a letter. Find five ten songs that start with that letter and post them to your journal. (It's actually five songs, but I couldn't pick, so I did ten :3)

...and here are my answers!

Hampster Dance
Happy Happy Joy Joy
Harlem Nocturne
Heaven on Their Minds
Here Beside Me
Holding Out for a Hero
Holy Water
Hot Hot Hot
Human Again
Hymn to the Lost and the Living.

Hampster Dance: Just dance to it--you know you want to ^____^

Happy Happy Joy Joy: Please tell me someone else remembers this song? The best thing to come out of Ren and Stimpy? It's a fun listen...although the words are awfully tricky ^.~

Harlem Nocturne: I first heard this from the jazz choir at the school where I student teach. It's an AWESOME jazz ballad--this is an instrumental arrangement, and it really doesn't need words IMHO, but the lyrics I'm familiar with can be found here. You just have to scroll down a bit.

Heaven On Their Minds: This is from Andrew Lloyd Weber's Jesus Christ Superstar. I think it's the opening number, sung by Judas. It's just a freakin' awesome song :D

Here Beside Me: This is the love ballad from Mulan II. It took me a little bit to get used to Hayley Westerna's voice, but it's a lovely song ♥

Holding Out for a Hero: This is the version from Shrek II, sung by Jennifer Saunders. Originally, the song was from the musical Footloose. It's just a fun, upbeat song, perfect for dancing or rescuing princesses :D

Holy Water: Performed by Big and Rich--this song is what you make of it, but no matter how you interpret it, it's still so sad.

Hot Hot Hot: A Harry Belafonte classic.

Human Again: From the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast. It can also be seen in the special edition DVD. This song is different from most of the others in the show/movie because it's from the viewpoint of the enchanted objects in the castle, and tells what they want--they want to be human again!

Hymn to the Lost and the Living: The subtitle of this work is In Memoriam: September 11th, 2001. This is an instrumental piece for band. It's a bit longer than the others, but it's such a beautiful, haunting piece.

If you take any music, feel free to comment so I know who I'm supplying to. 'Nother shipment, five dolla. Or just poke me and I will give you a letter ^___^ Have fun!
