Five-ish hours and counting~!

Holy "sleeping straight through my alarm this morning," Batman! I'm supposed to be at work at a quarter to eight. I opened my eyes and looked around in a most confused way at seven-thirty. Whoops -_- Oh well, at least I showered and everything last night, so I just had to get dressed (very quickly), flat-iron my bangs (very quickly), and get my stuff together (very, very slowly--just kidding, I did that quickly, too).

So there's some stuff still sitting on my kitchen floor. Got everything packed last night, but it was late and cold and I didn't want to walk out to my car again ^^;; So I'm figuring I'll leave here a little early, go back to my apartment, and get those last couple of things. And also my Kaito-fishie ♥ Taking my baby home with me~!

Then I go to the middle school--their concert went REALLY well last night, by the way ^_~ I'm sure a few of them will say something when I walk in carry a bright red beta in a plastic container.

Lesson plans for today are: high school is watching more of The Producers (the Nathan Lane version--we're watching it right now), and middle school is passing in music and starting A Muppet Christmas Carol. It's an early out, so we have really short class periods XD

I feel like I'm taking a LOT of stuff with me, but in reality...I'm not. I've got laundry, a couple of presents, a little bag with basic necessities in it, a pillow and blanket (since I'll be sleeping on a futon), and that's really about it. It all just happens to seem like it's taking up a lot of space ^^;;

...and then you guys will not have to listen to me babble about going home anymore. Promise. Well, not until winter break approaches. I need to come up with more interesting stuff to post about. Umm...err...

HOME!

THE GOOD: I made it safely to my parents' house. Family is all alive and well. I have a comfy futon to sleep on. Everyone is still as crazy as ever around here. I got a crock-pot and some pretty dolphin stuffs for my apartment bathroom. Plunnies are biting like crazy. Writing like a madwoman.

THE BAD: Snow made the drive reeeeeeally fun. On the way here traffic was almost at a standstill in my lane because of what seemed to be an accident--I saw the flatbed with the remains of a pick-up truck driving away from that. Also saw a lot of cars in the ditch and two semis in the ditch ON THEIR SIDES. Was scared to death. Also have to share internet with sister. Blah on that.

THE PERPETUALLY BEWILDERED: There will be a triple fic post tomorrow in honor of Thanksgiving. Now I should sleep...
