Okay, weird...
Jul. 2nd, 2008 10:43 pmLast night, my sister came in and we were talking about really random stuff. She's not as much of an anime fan as I am, but every once in a while she toddles in and looks at my anime and manga collection and asks what I'd recommend. She decided on Fushigi Yuugi last night, and she was surprisingly upset when I said that it didn't seem like Funimation was doing anymore Case Closed ^_~
But anyway, we were talking, me in my computer chair and she sitting on my bed, and she suddenly gets this weird look on her face. She stands up and walks over and looks at me really carefully. Then she tells me that my eye is really red. I felt okay, said that maybe I needed to start a new pair of contacts or something...and promptly forgot about it.
But then I got home from work tonight, and I was talking to Mom, and she told me that my left eye was really bloodshot. This time I went and looked, and sure enough it was--and is. And I mean *really* bloodshot.
The weirdest part (to my mind, anyway) is that my eye actually felt absolutely fine until I took my contacts out, and now it feels sort of weird. I mean, my eyes always feel a little bit weird when I take my contacts out, mostly just dry. Well, my right eye actually feels pretty normal, but my left one (the bloodshot one) feels really dry. That's all. It's not even really that uncomfortable or anything. Just dry. Maybe I should go get some of those artificial tears or something :S
I just hope it's not anything serious. I can't afford to go to a doctor right now D:
Anyway...I'm really tired and I took a sleep-aid (because I haven't been sleeping well lately--yes, I am apparently falling apart at the seams or something XDD--but I'm waiting for
kaitodoushi to get online. I need to ask her something. KAAAAAAAAAAAT, WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUUU? Probably at musical rehearsal, now that I think about it--can't wait to see your show next week!
bishonen_girl? WE MUST PLAN FOR THIS! z(^o^)b
Oh, and my sister also gave me a plunnie last night. For Sailor Moon, of all things. Just...can't quite figure out how to write it XD And I had a moderately awesome Apollo Justice idea last night. Maybe I just need to start penning some one-shots or something while I'm trying to get this stupid outline to cooperate... *stares at
100fandomhell* Let's see if I can catch up to
aishuu... *plotplotplot*
...my room is more or less awesome right now. See, I have a ton of artboxes and boxed sets and things, and it finally hit me (LIKE THE GENIUS I AM!) to arrange those on top of my dresser and put the regular DVDs on the rack. And now everything has a place. I also found that by turning a CD holder on its side, it becomes a ready-made DVD (or Gamecube/PS2 game) holder.
Blargh...might crawl into bed soon and play something until I crash...or try to do a bit o' writing before the sleepy-drugs catch up with me, though I already feel kinda drowsy. That's some good stuff o.o I dunno... *flounces over to send Kat a text*
