Have any of you ever had something you've wanted, but you knew it was kind of shallow and petty and selfish and overall, just incredibly stupid to wish for, but you've wanted it anyway? I think most people have experienced that at some point, yes? (Please to be telling me I'm not crazy?)

Well, I have one such daydream--someday, in some fandom, I want to achieve BNF status.

Don't ask me why. I just do.
