Hehehe...bosom...
Oct. 12th, 2007 07:40 pmAnother week survived, whee!
I love my choir kids. Best thing heard today (amongst many, many funny things) can be seen on my subject line :D We were singing through "Battle Hymn of the Republic," and one of the lines is "With a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me." And at that point in the song, my awesome alto stopped and, in a total Beavis and Butthead moment, said, "Hehehe...bosom...hehehe..." From there it descended into reams of laughter, leading to a repeat of yesterday's best moment...
Me: *playing with my very flouncy shirt*
B: ...are you trying to fly away?
Me: It's like a parachute! Now let's see... *stick my arms straight out at my sides and start moving them up and down while thinking* ...let's start from-- *realizes that I'm flapping* Okay, NOW I'm trying to fly away.
B: *laughs and also starts flapping*
Me: Wow, this would be a great time for the principal to walk in, huh? We're, umm...visualizing the air! Yeah! Feel the air! Feeeeeeel the aiiiiir!! *flapflapflap*
And shame on those of you who read that as *fapfapfap* Shaaaaaaaaaame...
It looks like the student loan consolidation is going to go through \o/ There was a problem with the fact that somehow my address got entered in wrong somewhere. So the lady changed it so my address was just my PO box, and I have to send them a utility bill and a piece of junk mail--both with my name/box address on them--to verify my new address. Once they have that, I'm good to go! :D
Nobody's online now ;o; So I'm sort of thinking that I might go curl up on the couch with my Muppet Show DVDs and knit for a few hours. Yeah, I know...I lead such an exciting life, right? MY BIG FRIDAY NIGHT CONSISTS OF KNITTING AND SINGING PUPPETS!! AND MAYBE ONE OF MY NEW MEL BROOKS MOVIES (Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Spaceballs) THAT I GOT IN A TWO-PACK FOR THIRTEEN BUCKS!! WHEEEEEEEEEEE~!!
...I am made of pure Boring *hangs head*
