candylandYay, we finally have interwebs! It wasn't working earlier, and so I was going into withdrawal. Without my internet connection, I seem to regress to a five-year-old child throwing a temper tantrum on the floor of a department store. I'm sure there's a "spanking" joke to be made in here somewhere, but I'm not quite sure what it is. Feel free to make up your own!
Tonight is the first night of parent-teacher conferences. I'm a little itty bitty bit nervous (with a side-order of worry and a small bowl of fretting), but I'm thinking it'll go all right. I've been told by a couple of people that most parents don't come and talk to the "specials" (music, P.E., art, etc.), so we'll see.
...but in case I am without parents to converse with, I have brought sources of entertainment! Primarily some music to listen to (hey, it's a music room, isn't it?) and my notebook. And a copy of my theme lists xD Figure I might as well see what I can get done, ne? I also need to pick at least a couple of songs to start on next week for the next concert @_@
It also hasn't totally hit me that I'll be turning twenty-two tomorrow. That's really weird--though there really isn't anything special about being twenty-two. But one of my middle schoolers gave me a present! *wibbles* Pretty candles! :D
As a result of conferences, I won't be online until later tonight (they run until eight). But the usual "POKE ME HERE!" rules apply ^_~ I'll be around via LJ until I get home and pounce on people via chatting!
