They say that college is supposed to be the best time of your life. When I look back, I won't remembering going to crazy parties (because I don't) or anything like that. I'll remember things like...
- Eating Ramen withvixieangel until all hours of the night and discussing anime/fanfictions/Music Theory/anime/stupid people/whatever the hell we wanted to talk about
- Sitting up until two AM withjewelsybear1017, bionerd08, and several others during a "study session" (read: everyone was working on something different), eating Pizza Rolls, discussing absurd theatre, telling weird jokes, and trying to understand all of Steve's biology terms (poor kid had a big test to study for)
- Late nights hanging out in the Cent Room (cheese balls...)
- Music Theory rhythm clapping sessions (in which what should have taken us maybe three hours or so to get through took us a full eight hours...but some damn fine fics came out of those late nights)
- Booksquirm (Mario Party...and poorravag3r couldn't win one until we all committed honorable seppuku and let ourselves be squished so he could win a round)
- Apples to Apples (hours and hours of insanity--the birth of the giant squid joke!)
- Choir tour (between "I like fried chicken," singing "The Internet is for Porn," and proving that we can fit seven people into one corner booth quite comfortably, we had some good times on those bus rides)
- Midnight Pizza and Movies (spirit_sage_333, this was ours. Usually sparked by an MSN message proclaiming hunger, followed by a trip to Wal-Mart for frozen pizza and/or ice cream and/or pop. Then we'd watch something, and usually find a way to laugh our asses off throughout. What we did to Sleeping Beauty should never be done to a Disney movie!)
- Late-night MSN conversations (msbbt and I have had some of the weirdest discussions I have ever encountered via our lovely messenger.)
- Commandeering a bathroom for an entire night and dying each other's hair (vixieangel and jackercrax might remember that...)
- My Conducting class. 'Nuff said.
- Hours and hours of GameCube during interim (spirit_sage_333, your ass makes a fine pillow!>
Those are but a few, but I got to thinking about it after the Pizza Rolls one. That was last night's festivity. Steve was studying for his big biology test, Kali was doing case briefs, Kurt was procrastinating and reading monologues out loud to us from some really bizarre play, and I was finishing my big unit for Methods. Then we ate Pizza Rolls. Was never so happy to get so little sleep *laugh*
