candylandYesterday at work was pretty much as I expected. Slow, slow, ten minute rush, and more slow. Such is the case after the Fourth of July, more or less. So I cleaned stuff--I'm actually very good at cleaning things, believe it or else. The plate holder thingy was SPARKLING! *strikes a pose*
And thenkaitodoushi and I marathoned--what else--Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations. We got to my house around...eight-thirty-ish, I think. And when I took her home, it was going on one-thirty AM. Case three completed, as well as case four. And Kat? Your Miles Edgeworth was masterfully smug ~♥
ARMSTRONG: *first makes a comment about attracting the younger boys to Phoenix, then about attracting the older ones to the Judge*
ME: *closes DS and sets it aside* Kat, hand me a pillow.
KAT: *tosses pillow over*
ME: *presses face into pillow and screams loudly, ending with* I DON’T WANT TO PICTURE THE JUDGE GETTING IT ON WITH ANYONE!
*complete meltdown of sanity in the room*
JUDGE: What you have just done is commited perjury, Mr. Armstrong. I will decide how to punish you later.
ARMSTRONG: Ou…oui…
*me and Kat look at each other*
KAT: …I’m really glad he didn't say anything else.
ME: ME TOO!
JUDGE: The witness will add that statement to his testimony.
ARMSTRONG: Oui, Monsieur Judge! Everything I do, I do it for you!
ME: *I start singing, Kat joins in, both in awful French accents* ♫YOU KNOW EET’S TRUE, EVERYTHING AH DYUU, AH DYUU EET FOR YUU~♪
PHOENIX: (What is this? Music Theory 101?)
ME: *raises hand* I took that class! Got an A!
KAT: Me too!
ME: Who uses a word like ocolarygniblabbleblah in court?
KAT: ...you certainly don’t!
DIEGO: I thought maybe you’d like someone to play with.
ME: …oh my god…he’s STRAIGHT!
ME: *repeatedly during Case Four* Now I remember why I hated Edgeworth so much at first. YOU &@$#(%& BASTARD. *insert your choice of verbal obscenities and obscene hand gestures at my DS screen here*
There was one more that I didn't post here because I think it's going to wind up as a crossover crack-fic that I totally don't already have the cast list figured out for or anything. Kat, I hate you. Except for the part where I don't. But after I drove Kat home, I came back and popped a sleep aid, crashed around two-thirty-ish...and woke up at noon. Well-rested!Candy is well-rested :D
I need to get back on the writings, too...my slackery continues ^^;; *flops over and rolls around a bit*
Oh, and the English cast list for the Ouran dub has been released. We called it on Tamaki--Vic Minogna is going to OWN. I know there are plenty who will disagree with me on that, but having seen him do Femio (a character very much like Tamaki) in the Princess Tutu dub, a clip of which eludes me on YouTube? I think he's going to be really good in the role.
...blargh. There was something else. Can't remember what. Oh well~ *scampers away to get ready for work*
