candyland...okay, get the negatives out of the way first: yesterday? SUCKED. Put it this way: orange soda + white and light gray carpet + SHOUT stain remover = OT3. And also praise to Shout for saving my ass and letting me get most of that stuff out of the carpet. There's a very faint spot still, but nothing you'd really notice unless you were specifically looking for it.
Let's see...I worked today, and was nice and busy right up until the end of my shift, which is the way to do it. And I already know that I'm going to have plenty to do tomorrow. Yay! We've been fairly busy lately, and there's always plenty of stuff to do in Italian in the morning.
Oh, and that situation I mentioned with the co-worker I do not get along with? They're trying to hire another person to replace the girl we just lost. Once they hire someone, I'm going to be moved to the Wednesday day shift. So if things stay as they are, I'll wind up working a grand total of two hours a week with this person. This, I can handle. Especially if I take my break then ^_~ *sneaky Candy is sneaky*
...and why did I spend that entire paragraph trying to type "hire" as "higher"? WTF, self?
And also, Chong is amazing and looks out for me and I love her. She actually asked the manager to shift my hours. On Sundays, I now work from ten to three instead of ten to four...and then she told me to just stay an extra hour on Tuesday or Thursday (or even both, if there's enough to do) to make up for it. ILU, CHONG ~♥
And finally, I just got out of the shower after a very nice work-out. Twenty minute running a program on the treadmill, and then about half an hour on the weight machine. Means that my appetite is going to be completely screwed up for a good few days, as it usually does when I make my lazy butt exercise. But really...I need to do something. Get the endorphins going, get in shape...y'all know what I mean.
Andbishonen_girl is all kinds of amazing because she's letting me borrow a couple of her yoga DVDs! *SQUEEFACE* I've been wanting to try it for a while now, so many shiny blue herbs (of questionable legality) to her for lending me the stuffs to check it out! ♥♥♥

And tonight on America's Got Talent, we go from the top ten to the top five! The parents and I think we've got three of the five nailed down, barring a surprise upset: Neil E. Boyd, Queen Emily, and Nuttin' But Stringz. We're sort of putting monies on the piano man and Donald Braswell, but really...it's sort of a wild card at this point. I'm putting up Neil E. Boyd or Queen Emily to win, but the top five is going to be interesting.
And really...I feel a little sorry for Piers. He's always the voice of reason, and gets boo-ed for it. Of course it's not fair to put a four-year-old on a Vegas stage! Everyone knows it! But apparently we're not allowed to stay it out loud. Oh well. Seven minutes until showtime. Should probably get dressed and go. Yays!
ETA: FIVE FOR FIVE, WE WERE RIGHT ON AGT! Next week, the finale!
