Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Hope you all had a good day and stuffed yourselves silly. My five extra pounds and I are doing great, and I am very much enjoying rolling myself everywhere. Except down the stairs. That is kind of ouch. We had our usual enormous meal. Mom always outdoes herself on Thanksgiving, and then we have leftovers for a couple of days. I personally think that Thanksgiving leftovers are the best of the year :D
We also did some of our Christmas decorating. The trees are up and decorated. We got a smaller tree for the living room upstairs this year. I admit that the old one was a little bit too big for us, since if you tried to go to the back corner, you were in severe danger of, at the very least, knocking ornaments off the lower branches, and at worst, potentially knocking the tree over because it was so wide. The newer one is very...narrow. Mom and Dad are all ga-ga over it, but I think the room looks really empty.
Tonight we ran to the craft store. I needed a couple skeins of yarn for this knitting project. Well, the quick run to Michael's turned into a not-so-quick run to ShopKo, and then Dad decided to take the long way back and we wound up getting caught at a train. Displeased Candy was displeased. And also bored, since I'd thought we were doing a really quick errand, so I didn't bring my cell phone or purse or anything.
Otherwise...NaNo count is 43,140 words right now. I think I'm actually going to make it! And then I can get back to normal writing, which will be so very, very lovely~ :3
Watched some Tiny Toons with my sister. Is it bad that I remember all of the episodes we watched tonight from when I was a kid? xDD Ah, childhood TV shows...nostalgia makes me happy :D
I think I need to get to bed soon. Tomorrow I'm over at Kat's at 8 AM to help her paint her bedroom, and then my parents have some stuff that they need me to help with. Probably mostly standing at the bottom of the ladder so Dad can pass me stuff out of the attic ^^;; And, of course, writing a few thousand words.
*hugs everyone uber-hard* ♥
