Her parents are out of town for a week. A good time was had by all~

Which brings me to tomorrow: summerwrite2 starts tomorrow, so starting tomorrow I am writing again. Alphabet meme is up first, and thank you all for your patience. But today, I get to plot and organize my thoughts and ideas. Gonna nail it, whoo! *victory dance*

I heard a joke at work last night: "People said pigs would fly before a black man was elected President of the United States. One hundred days into Obama's term? Swine flu." *ba-dum-TISH*

And with the bricks now flying at my head at high speeds, I will add that I asked the pharmacist I worked with last night about swine flu. She said that basically, if you have any sort of an immune system and are reasonably healthy, then you'll be stuck in bed with a VERY nasty case of the flu for a while. And that's about it. Maybe I'm out of touch, or maybe it's because I just don't really get sick all that often (germs phear me), but I'm not worried about it at all.

Continuing on with work, I got my schedule for May--they do the schedule by the month. For two weeks of the month, I'm working 28.5 hours, and for the other two weeks, 35.5 hours, which averages out to 32 hours a week (I counted it up during a slow moment). That's almost exactly the same number of hours I worked back in Chinese. But now I'm getting paid more :D Yes plz! (Especially since I'm getting on their insurance plan, which is Very Expensive...)

Aaaaaaaand I was given the rundown on some of the workplace drama last night. Whoo ^^;;
