Happy Mother's Day!

candylandBabysitting was fun. They're good kids. After they fell asleep, I wound up dozing off on the couch. Which made driving home really fun because my eyes felt all fuzzy. Then I got home, took a shower, and flopped over into bed.
Happy Mommy's Day to any mothers on the ol' f-list! (I'm aware of one...) We took Mom out to breakfast this morning for Mother's Day. 'Twas tasty! And then I went to work for a very looooooooong seven hours. We were pretty upbeat for the first half-hour, and then things were sort of dead-ish until the last fifteen minutes, when everyone realized that we were getting ready to close and ZOMG NEED MEDS.
My stomach seems to have calmed down more or less. Still a little upset, but it's not actually doing anything, which is definite improvement. The nurse practitioner at work yesterday said that I might have caught a mild stomach virus. Then she brought me a Sprite ♥
Tomorrow I have the day off. Need to get caught up on comments, write (which reminds me, need to report word count for yesterday, miniscule as it is), and probably go outside and get dirty. YAY FOR GARDENING! We got some plants for our outdoor pots, and put a couple of bushes down into the area at the end of our flowerbed. I get to do the honors :D What can I say, playing in the dirt is fun!
Also, my new love afraid with the soundtrack to Shrek: The Musical is growing by the headphone-wearing minute. This is the only musical that can get away with a song that consists of a minute or so of bodily functions. And the ballads are gorgeous and lasjkd;fjlkj MUST WRITE FOR THESE SONGS MUST MUST MUST *flailing of arms*
