Today is a day off, hooray! I have a multitude of things that I would rather enjoy doing, but I don't know how many of them will end up getting done. Mostly because I am a horrendously lazy person and will most likely spend my day faffing about.

In related news, "faffing about" is a delightful phrase.

We gave Dad Mario Kart for the Wii as a Father's Day gift. Now comes the real fun: getting him to make the trek down the stairs to the family room to play it. I suspect that this endeavor may eventually involve a leash. We also went out for a Father's Day breakfast before my sister and I had to go to work.

Work yesterday raced along with all the hurry and fuss of a dozing snail. I mean, Sundays are usually slow (there aren't many offices open to write prescriptions), but yesterday was to the extreme. We cleaned the floors. I scrubbed some shelves. I helped the pharmacist do inventory by standing in the shelves and counting boxes on the diabetic supplies and the pseudophedrine products. We all did our grocery shopping--I sort of wish I was joking on that.

We were wondering if we'd break a hundred scrips. With fifteen minutes left, we were at ninety-six. Then we had our last-minute rush...which consisted of four cars in the drive-through and a couple of people at the front. Grand total for the day? Ninety-nine. Lovely.

Our kitchen sink has decided that now is a gorgeous time to back up. The plumber guy should be here to rooter it out somewhere around the eleven-thirty to noon-ish time. I really hope he doesn't need to get into the trap in the very back corner of my room, behind my DVD rack and shelves. Reeeeeeally hope.

Rach has plunnied me. STOP STEALING KAT'S JOB.
