There are strange men in my house, doing things to our furnace/boiler/whatever it is, backyard tree, duct work, and...I don't even know what else. It was sort of funny--I was about to peek out to see what was going on, and I heard one of the guys say, "She won't be asleep for too much longer." I opened the door, looked at my dad, and said, "Remember me telling you that I'm usually at least awake by eight AM?" Oh, and I actually have my dad's leave to more or less stay in my room all day so I'm out of the way. I also have coffee and a donut.

I am looking forward to this, especially because autumnwrite begins today, and since this month is going to be devoted to the whole "passing my certification so I can legally continue to work as a tech and have something that could potentially resemble a carrer" thing, I'm giving myself today and tomorrow to get a bit of a head start.

And it appears to be official: Torchwood might be my new fandom. Still have a gazillion ideas running through my head for various other things (DC/MK, I'm looking at you), but...I realized a couple days ago that I have already mentally assigned effin' theme songs to two characters, and I have a handful of plunnies, two of which I actually really adore but which are not getting written until I have caught up with the series and have the whole canon under my belt.

Speaking of which, Lurker Day is tomorrow and I have a long list of things that will be posted. The list of stuff going up to ff-dot-net is longer than what will be going up here on LJ (since some of my fandoms for 100fandomhell were already posted here, but not there), but yes, I am very excited about this! Lurker Daaaaaaaaaaay~

I think I need to restart my computer, for it is not being as cooperative as it was previously. GRR, I SAY! Okay, so I typed out that sentence, and then I guess the guys shut the power off for a second or something because my computer actually shut off. And somehow that lost my Firefox tabs, so I lost a lot of the stuff I'd been reading. GRR AGAIN, I SAY!
