This was actually a bit of a surprise...
Jun. 11th, 2010 09:00 amMy test results came back completely normal.
Thyroid, iron count, blood sugar, cholesterol - I am apparently the very picture of a healthy twenty-four-year-old.
...which is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but it's not explaining why in the bloody blue blazes I'm so worn out all the time!
Through a nice little round of phone tag, I wound up setting an appointment with the nurse to go in on Monday and get more blood drawn to do a mono test. If that comes back negative, we're going to keep looking. When I mentioned it to my pharmacist, she was quite surprised. As was my mother. I think we all expected them to come back and say my thyroid was not working properly.
My mom asked if it could be depression - I have undergone a great many changes in my life right now, and while they're not necessarily bad changes, it is a lot all at once. But...I've never heard of depression making someone's hair come out in their hands @_@ We'll see how the test goes on Monday, I s'pose.
Good news: got our next two quilt squares today!
Bad news: they put the patterns for LAST MONTH in the bag as well, for some reason, and I wound up cutting one of my fabrics wrong. They do not give you any room for error, so on Saturday I get to run back out to the quilt shop and see if I can buy a scrap of fabric to finish my damn square. RAWR, I SAY.
Tomorrow night,
kaitodoushi and I are playing more Persona 4. GLEE! \o/ And then this weekend,
ammchan and I are hoping to do some writing sprints. If all goes well, this will mean things will be updated. No Little Plans is first on my list, and we'll see what I can muster up after that.
...meh, maybe I'll go work on my other quilt square now.
