I went to a Renaissance Festival today, my first time attending such an event. It was most fun, 'cept for the fact that I had to be up at four AM in order to go to it--the damn thing was four hours away, and my friends felt the need to be on the road in the wee hours of the morning. I got to see the official 'butt-crack' of dawn from the backseat of Andrew's car before I fell asleep in a most uncomfortable position with my head leaning against the window. Woke up with an extremely sore neck.

Unfortunately, it is now midnight. I have been "awake" for twenty hours now (I dozed on and off in the car, but I don't think it counts, 'cause it wasn't restful sleep). I am TIRED. So I shall write the rest of this in sometime in the near future. Sleep first.

A good time was had by all, though. And that turkey leg was delicious, indeed.

Oh yeah, one more thing--Rurouni Kenshin rocks my face off, yo!!! Kenshin has taken second place (just behind Chichiri) in the "You are so adorable I want to glomp you repeatedly, kidnap you, make you my love-slave, and have you bear my child" category. And I've only watched the first eight episodes!!! Perhaps Chichiri will finally be unthroned...we shall see ^_^

Hee hee, he might dethrone Chichiri, huh? I all ready told what I say about Kenshin (not repeating it due to secretive nature of real gender). I'm glad I have my manga with me now, though! ^-^

Heehee, Chichiri is a character from Fushigi Yuugi. *points to avatar/display picture/whatever the hell you call that little picture thing* That's 'Chiri-chan ^_^ He's a monk and a mage, with an extremely tragic past. He is extremely powerful, wears a mask to cover a scar over his left eye (which is why his face looks like that--so cute!). He also has a tendency to add the words 'no da' to the end of almost every sentence, enjoys popping up and scaring the living daylights out of the other characters at random intervals, and has a habit of disappearing in and out of his hat. See why I loveded him so?

But yes, Kenshin is quickly honing in on Chichiri's title of "Candy-chan's favorite bishounen of all time." It's a close race. But I've now watched two discs worth of RK--eighteen episodes. Mucho laughter. But I'm looking forward to seeing Kenshin 'go Battousai' again, as it were. He's creepy, but cool when he's like that, heehee.
