Children's TV musings...

[candyland]

Yet another moment of utter randomness that hit me while I was watching Blue's Clues and knitting. Absolutely no correlation there, but that's what I was doing...

*Blue sings her little song and jumps into the picture*
Steve: Blue just skiddooed into that picture of a jungle! Let's go too!
Steve runs over and does his little dance and sings off-key and is sucked into the picture*
Steve: It's a jungle. And look--animals!
*Blue is standing behind several hungry-looking lions*
Blue: Arf arf arf arf! (Translation: Kill the idiot!)
*The lions pounce on Steve and eat him*

Now, the alternate version of this would be that they already ate Blue by the time Steve got through the picture...I have absolutely no idea where this came from, but I had to get it out of my head before it caused me severe psychological harm X_X

...and behold, the reason that I should not go into children's television. I would probably scar some poor child for life. And the sad part is that Blue's Clues is not really bad viewing. By comparison, anyway. I'm actually rather fond of it.

Confession time: I saw the premiere of Blue's Clues, the very first episode when it aired ^_^ Didn't have a clue (ack, the pun!) what it was. And I actually once set a tape to record Blue's Big Monday, and then actually watched it *looks innocent*

That TT thing is funny!! That seriously needs to go in a story...hey, you're always looking for 30 Kisses ideas *grin*
