Five things you'd like to see in fics that people never seem to cover
1. I actually did this recently, but nobody writes about the characters later in life. Not the standard "five years in the future and we're married with a kid" thing, but the real golden years, when they're old and gray. I think it's cute, if done right ^_^ On the flip side, what were they like as small children or babies? ...I'm doing that too, actually...okay, how about the angst of puberty?
2. Out-of-character habits--what do they do when the camera isn't rolling? Does Shinichi have a secret addiction to Cocoa Puffs or something? Does Ran watch boxing? Really random, but might be fun.
3. The characters are always doing big, exciting things--solving mysteries, performing heists. Do these people ever, ya know, do laundry, wash the dishes, vacuum, PTA meetings, etc.? Exciting is all well and good, but maybe it would be nice to see the mundane once in a while. They're only human.
4. Family reunions. It would be awesome to see Heiji's Crazy Aunt Ryoko who pinches everyone's cheeks, or Vermouth's mother Yenta Vineyard who comes to redecorate her office at the Black Ops. ("Why haven't you cawled, dahling? Ya look too skeenny...what do ya theenk of these curtains, eh?") This is what happens when I talk to my friends while I type, they give me ideas...*cocks shotgun* Go away, plunnies. I have class.
5. I would love to see more from the bad guy's point of view. What are they thinking while they do what they are doing? Why are they doing it, aside from a thirst for world domination or chicks or whatever? Bad guys need to have depth too!! ...damn plunnies...

ickaimp...)

Five movies that should have NEVER EVER had sequels
1. Bambi
2. Cinderella
3. Peter Pan
4. The Little Mermaid
5. Lilo and Stich
Runner-up: Pocahontas (anyone notice a pattern here?)
Five movies based on books that should have just been left alone
1. Native Son (Loved the book, but the movie was So. Stupid. I burn my hand on the furnace door, but then stick my entire arm into the furnace to push the body the rest of the wayin? Whiskey tango?? What happened to chopping her head off??)
2. The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer (the book was AWESOME. Creepy as hell, could not put it down at all. The movie was a total disaster, had so many facts wrong, and didn't even go all the way to the juicy ending.)
3. Uncle Tom's Cabin (remember the hokey movie version we watched in Accelerated English? Yeah, that one. "Someone save that poor child!!" Pshaw...)
4. Rappuchini's Daughter (she wore the same dress for the entire story, which takes place over many a day, and every five minutes, we got the same excuse--"It's late. I have to go." Bo-ring. But the written story was awesome! Go fig.)
5. Holes (didn't like the book, didn't like the movie)
Five movies based on books that filled your little heart with joy
1. Harry Potter (is mostly love)
2. The Green Mile (I bawled at the end! Especially considering that most adaptations of Steven King books are crap!)
3. The Lorax (it was a hokey little animated feature, but by God, I loved it as much as I love that book)
4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (nothing beats the animated version, but the Jim Carrey one did amuse me ^_^)
5. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (NOT Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Comparatively, I like the new one much better, thank you. It actually stuck with the book for ninety percent of the movie.)

5 favourite characters that absolutely have to be made into stuffed animals
1. Kirby the Little Alien Thing from Chicken Little (you knew that would be on here ^_^)
2. Puuchuu from Excel Saga (They're...so...cute!)
3. Mokona from Magic Knight Rayearth
4. The little green alien things from Toy Story and Toy Story 2
5. GIR from Invader Zim (anyone who knows me should not be surprsied by this one...)
Whew...that was kind of tricky at a few points. Hope everyone's satisfied with the answers I gave, and many thanks to everyone who dropped me a line to respond to. Expect me to be on more later with further random thoughts.
thekellylynn and I are on duty tonight, and I'm gonna play with her LJ layout during movies *grin*

Yayyy. *loves Mitsuhiko for some odd, odd reason* I wanted to put more of them in my 10th ficmas entry, but it got long winded so I'll probably put some in the 11th one if my muses come back XD;

Date: 2006-01-29 01:20 am (UTC)Two-Mix singing anything would be awesome...I almost added "The Internet is for Porn" from Avenue Q but I felt that the Putnam County Spelling Bee one sufficed for comedy relief ^_^
I am loving your 12 Days stories!! Hope you'll continue soon!!

Date: 2006-01-29 01:26 am (UTC)Yah, muses can be like that. I'll have an idea, floating around the black abyss of my mind and when I put my fingers to the keyboard the idea is like ":P I don't wanna! *throws a tantrum*" and so it can be days before I get the idea down XD
But I eagerly await seeing what your idea with them is XD And glad you're enjoying mine. I just have to poke my muses into two more days XD;
