30_kisses brought this first two about, in regards to the previous Kiss. Ah, shoulder-angels and shoulder-devils, how I love them so...*makes note to come up with new idea*
The Thought: Shinichi's shoulder-angel is wearing white, and there's a whole argument as to whether or not he looks like Kaitou Kid. Later, the real Angel-Shinichi is found locked in a heavenly broom closet...
Devil-Shinichi: What the hell is going on here?
"Angel-Shinichi": *laughs and rips off disguise* Just me!
Devil-Shinichi: Dammit, Kuroba, that's four times! Do it again, and I'm telling Kudo where to find your guy.
Angel-Kaito: Awww, you're no fun.
Angel-Shinichi: *grumbling* Why do you wear KID clothes for this, anyway?
Angel-Kaito: They're stylish!
Devil-Shinichi: What I'm wondering is why both you and the devil-you wear the same outfit. Honestly, no self-respecting shoulder-devil wears white!
Other Thought: Shinichi gives Kazuha a tip on getting Hattori to clue in. She takes the suggestion and follows Ran's brilliant example...
Kazuha: Ya know, I really don't get that whole kissing thing.
Heiji: ...and this is an issue for you how, exactly?
*insert sound of Heiji's head breaking*

Lastly, I was plunnied a couple nights ago, and posted it on ff.net last night. New fic, called Maternal Instinct, featuring Yukiko of all people. It ends with Agasa telling Yukiko and Yuusaku that they might want to sit down, just before he tells them about what happened to Shinichi, aka How Conan was Born. This came from a reviewer named Troy Thomas, and it cracked me up...
TAKE ONE!
Agasa looked at them, then took a deep breath. "You might want to sit down..."
"Why's that?" asked Yusaku.
"Well, Shinichi and Ran... Ran's pregnant."
TAKE TWO!
Agasa looked at them, then took a deep breath. "You might want to sit down..." When both parents were seated, he continued. "Shinichi came to me the other day. He's come out. Out of the closet, I mean."
TAKE THREE!
Agasa looked at them, then took a deep breath. "You might want to sit down..."
"I have a bad feeling about this," said Yusaku.
"Yes, it's terrible," said Agasa. "Shinichi said something unbelievable the other day." He paused. "He said Poirot is better than Holmes."
Yukiko could instantly tell from Yusaku's sudden firm mood that he was terribly upset.
"He... he is no son of mine!" said Yusaku, coldly.
BTW, I think that story is going to be continued with at least a second part, possibly more, depending on how much my muses are willing to work. But the readers have asked, and by golly, the readers shall receive. Am also html-ing the latest conversation between myself andmagic_truth for posting here, will be up later today.
