I've seen this on a couple other LJs, but actually swiped it from msbbt.

So ask me a question about anything--fandom, real life, music, vegetables, etc--and I will answer you and then ask YOU a question and then the whole process could be repeated if anyone wants to keep it up. If this works, by the end we could know each other so well we're sick of each other and have to quit one another for a while.

Good question! Okay, so my friend Kat told me I absolutely had to check out this new show on Adult Swim called Case Closed. One night, there was a good Inuyasha episode on, and then I saw that this Case Closed was on next, so I figured "I like mysteries. Let's check it out!" And it was the episode where the killer in bandages is stalking people out at Sonoko's villa. I think it was the scene were Ran crawls into bed with Conan 'cause she's scared and his reaction that officially hooked me.

It kind of became a nightly tradition--my friend Vixie and I would watch it in my room (it was on at midnight), while two of our guy friends would watch it over in their dorm room in a different building, and we'd all watch together via MSN Messanger. But it wasn't until later I started doing research online (because I am that big of a nerd), and found out all about Kaitou KID and Heiji (who I hadn't seen yet) and stuff. And it wasn't until after I started reading fics, like Icka's Cookies and Becky Tailweaver's Relative Truth that I realized I want to join this fandom. Big Time.

There you have it. My long-winded answer as to how I got yanked into this fandom kicking and screaming *laugh* Okay, so I wasn't kicking, and the "screams" were more "fangirl squeals."

Okay, for you: What exactly is that thing getting all smooshed in your icon? I laugh whenever I see it, but I don't know what it is!!

XDDDDD!! That 'thing' is actually a guy called Inui from the anime Prince of Tennis whose goals in life are to collect as much data as he can and make Inui juice (the juice is not exactly...drinking material). Seriously, that is one stupidly cracky anime about guys who only dream about playing tennis (For example, the bases of that icon are screenshots of a special chibi episode). My friend got me hooked onto the series via Tennimyu, the musical and, as they all say, the rest was history. Glad the icon made you laugh; I was in stitches when I was making it. (my official crack icon)

This should be the chibi eps. I screencapped from. It takes some time to load, but its so worth it. X3

Kitchen utensil?.....I'd probably be one of the multitask-things that can dice, slice and do too-many different things. Because they're useful but frustrating. ^___^

Okay, if I shot/stabbed/strangled/poisoned/ran over some poor slob with a car and it was sort of on purpose and Shinichi and/or Heiji came out of the pages to solve the case...I would glomp them both--extensively--and then leave the country. Quickly.

Hmm... I think I would marry the guy who plays Napoleon Dynamite (John Heder i think his name is.) He's not the best looking guy & he's kinda crazy, hehe, but he's really funny. I just hope ricky doesn't mind that i'll have 2 husbands, hehe!

Congratulations!

To format on ff.net, you first have to upload your story onto the Document Manager (which I'm sure you already know). It'll then be on a little chart thing that says the title, word count, and then a link that says "Edit/Preview." Click on that--it should bring up text window, where you can add the line-dividers and change things last minute.

hmmm...thats a hard one....but ill say dbz...cuz that is what got me into anime....hmmm...another question for you...which is better shin/ran, kaito/aoko, or heiji/kazuha?

DBZ was my first "fanfic" fandom, really, though Sailor Moon was my first anime...

I tend to write more Shin/Ran than anything else, but...this'll probably sound like dodging the question, but I like them each in their own way and for their own reasons.

Shinichi and Ran have that whole "star-crossed lovers" thing going on, and there's a lot of romantic potential there, if they would both just 'fess up. Kaito and Aoko have the issue of secrets and this wall--again, major romantic potential, but with the KID thing between them, it might be a while before it's realized. Plus, I don't think Kaito fully trusts Aoko simply because of KID.

Heiji and Kazuha just make me laugh because they're so perfect for each other, but they're both hopelessly clueless. In fact, if I really had to pick, I would probably say H/K is my favorite, though I love them all.

For you...if you could abolish any one school subject, which one would you axe?

Hmmmm...well, they've slooooooowly been inching closer to it, but it hasn't happened yet, so I'd definitely go with a Heiji/Kazuha make-out scene. A really good make-out scene. Like, an entire file long. *waves flag* For fangirls everywhere!!

And now I get to ask you a question. Let's see...at the end of the Detective Conan series, during the bust of the Black Ops, do you think our intrepid hero will be as Conan or Shinichi? Or which one would you prefer him to be, and why? *clutches award for Most Long-Winded Question*

Hmmm.... I'd prefer for our main character to be Conan. As for why... well, a little kid kicking those evil guys asses is just so cool. 8D And plus, I'd think it'll be more logical for Conan to defeat them in the most powerless form - but with so much power notheless.

It's always been a joke in our family as to what we'd do if we won the lottery. First things first: take care of the family/friends. Then there's a few charities and causes that I wouldn't mind working something out with. Spread the wealth, spread the love.

Hey, welcome aboard! I like questions!

I have heard of a couple of her other series, Ranma, and something about a mermaid (the title escapes me at the moment), but I've never actually watched or read them. Heck, most of the time I'm barely keeping up with Inuyasha ^_^ So I go bug Kat to tell me what's happening. Which reminds me, I really need to go read this latest manga thing that's got everyone all in a tizzy...

And now I get to ask you a question! If you could turn the sky any other color, what color would you turn it?? And go!

Ooh! You should totally read Ranma! It was my obsession before Detective Conan...
I just love the fact that Ranma turns into a girl, has three fiancee's, and...it is so crazy...I have a link if you want to try it sometime.


Uhh...I would turn the sky...GREEN! To match the grass! (I really dunno. It was the first thing that came to mind...)


Now I ask another question! Um... Do you think it's weird for an Asian girl to use British slang when she grew up around Americans and Asians and doesn't know any British people? (My friends all think I'm weird for using British slang...>.>;;)

Green is one of my two favorite colors! The other being pink =P

I think people should be able to use whatever slang they see fit. I'm occasionally finding words like "keen" slipping into my conversation, which is a slang term from the freakin' thirties. I also use far too much internet lingo in my daily speech--particularly "bee-tee-dub" for BTW, and I say "burb" for brb so I'm saying it like it sounds. So you talk however you like. Who knows--it might catch on!
