I broke Jo's brain again today! Before band rehearsal, she came in and I reached over and grabbed the strap of her tanktop. There were rhinestones on it, and I had to have an obligatory "shiny" moment. She nearly jumped out of her skin, though *giggle*

So then we're playing along, la la la, and during a down moment, I notice her necklace (also shiny). But it was flipped around, so I reached over to untwist the chain so her the pendant was facing the right way. Again, she looked startled, and I asked her where exactly she thought my hand was going. This led to a short and giggly conversation about boobs and squeezage.

Jo now says that we have a "special relationship." Should I be alarmed? *glomples on Jo* Or perhaps I should just not look too closely at that question XDDD I love my section, all two of us. We have so many running jokes--listening to us talk sometimes is probably like listening to people babble in code. Yay for oopsing in unison!!

We're playing an aliotoric (sp?) piece called Apollo. We love it because there are no wrong notes. And...well, one part sounds like seals mating, the next part sounds like the seal-babies have just been born, and the part right after that sounds like the seals are having a party. Purposefully squeaky saxophones equals Candy-chan's ears going owiiiiiiiie...

During one run-through of a different piece, Jerry the Bald made a comment that it was a nickle for every wrong note. I immediately leaned over to Jo and said, "Right, so hand over my first-born now!" So when we play Apollo, we're happy because we can't oops in unison, and we don't hafta hand over our future children :D

I'm making Jeff's brain break now, mostly through veiled sexual innuendo, and the offhand comment that I wished magic_truth would get online so we could finish the latest discussion on Shinichi and Ran and their torrid sex lives the latest scenario of Evil. This was the exchange Jeff and I had over tacos...

Jeff: There are only two ways left for you to break my brain.
Me: ...pounce on you and rape you, what's the other one?
Jeff. ...okay, there are only three ways left for you to break my brain.
(The other two ended up being flashing him outside of an MSN smilie and kissing him.)

Oh yeah, and I've found an AWESOME community: fanficrants is an interesting and active community for people (authors and readers) to air their complaints. It's not exclusively anime, but there's a lot of good comments and legit complaints on there. Check it out!
