AHH! I've been tagged!!
Jun. 4th, 2006 08:12 amI was tagged by
syv_on_air with this, so if you will all indulge my ego for a moment or five, here goes nothing...
Tell six things about yourself and tag six others.
1. I'm afraid of the dark. Have been ever since I was a kid. It's actually kind of weird, but when I'm in my dorm room, as long as I can see the digital clock on my microwave, I'm fine. But if there's a red light (like the one on my phone), I freak.
2. I'm hooked on this series of computer games where you play as Nancy Drew. My sister and I play them together. The next one, Danger by Design, is out in July, and the one after that, Creature of Kapu Cave, is out in October. WHEE!!
3. I hate confrontation, and I'm really lousy at it. Really lousy. This is probably why I tend to get walked on a lot.
4. I'm approximately half Irish, courtesy of my mother's heritage. From my father, I've got German, Scottish, Polish, and Russian. In other words, I have the makings of a great drinker! (On a side note, when I told someone I was half-Irish, he couldn't wrap his mind around how that was possible--I had to explain to him about four times that because my mother was full-blooded Irish, I would then be HALF Irish. He got it. Eventually *headdesks*)
5. I'm attention deficit. Big time. Actually, I have ADHD, but either way, one of the weird results of this is that I have a serious issue with looking people in the eye. So if we're ever talking, and I seem to be looking at some point over your head, rest assured that I am listening--I just have trouble looking at people sometimes.
6. I am a nut about the paranormal. Ghosts, monsters, aliens, Atlantis...you name it. Someday, I want to go ghost-hunting for real, as I am a believer. But in the meantime, I'll content myself by watching Ghost Hunters every week, silently swearing vengeance on Kelly for getting me hooked on it. Heck, even my dad (who isn't really a believer) watched part of an episode with me, and said that they did capture some interesting stuff. I think he was impressed by their attitude of trying to disprove a haunting, rather than prove it. BTW, the season finale rocked--yay for closet doors opening and closing on their own!

I'm still digging through Europe pics, all seven hundred of them. Yes, seven hundred. And three video files. I'll probably post about the first part of the trip in the next couple of days. Ah, Europe, you were kind...except for sending me home with an unseasonal bout of bronchitis. That wasn't very nice.
