Back and full of goo!

I LIVE!! *glomps room with AC and wireless internet* Back on campus for show choir camp. Revelling in air conditioned bliss *purrs happily*

The conference was a blast, as expected--the food was a million times better this year, too. Got lotsa new music and some new ideas. AND we got the All-State music for this year... *pounces on Eric Whitacre's "Sleep" and gobbles it up with lurv*

Too much to go into right now--I'll post more maybe tomorrow, depending on how all the camp stuff goes. Lotsa work to do ^^;; In ze meantime, magic_truth has persuaded me to post tonight. Will be either a single or double update, depending on whether or not this 30_ways fic decides to cooperate. I might have to eat it if it doesn't.

I actually did one of his when I was in high school: "Water Night." Didn't know it was him at the time, though, and had never heard of "Sleep." I would love to do it, but I'm not sure our choir could manage it. Sopranos on a high A...that alone could be trouble.
