Hey there Candy-chan,

Ran sent me a phone message saying that there was this online journal post that requested message from me. Well, I decided to check it out and here I am. Nice to meet you.

I took the liberty of looking around your journal earlier; you have amazing writing skills and I was gratified to see that some of of your works featured me and...well, Ran. I would be very grateful if you continued am a little surprised though at the unexpected pairing; after all, Ran and I are just very close friends.

Well, I can't take too long; there's a case which has been demanding my attention for the past few minutes- something to do with Kaito Kid again. Just wanted to say keep up your current work and that in everything, there is only one truth so do be sure to check out every possibility before coming to conclusions in any decision you have to make.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, Shinichi, but...well, the entire fandom is quite certain of the nature of your relationship with Ran-chan. To be blunt: just friends? We don't believe you. If it pleases the court, I will continue to write you two as I have been =)

Ah, yes...I heard about that Kaitou Kid case. Sounds like he might be stealing some bases or something? Tragic...terribly tragic.
