Class report!

I'm in Visual Basic right now--I think I'm going to enjoy this class =D The professor who was supposed to teach it was Dr. Smith, but he was hit by a car while riding his bike. He's in the hospital with a LOT of serious injuries. I hope he recovers soon =(
So one of the professors who retired last year came in to teach our class. Dr. T...he's spastic, he's enthusiastic, he's crazy, and I think I'm going to have a good time while he's here. Kinda hope he's around for a while =P Thus far, we've discussed how his family name is an architectural masterpiece because of the patterns of the letters. We've talked about how all business problems can be solved if you get a Coke license. We've gone over what a computer is. And we've learned how they fill pop bottles with exactly 16 ounces of Mountain Dew (a paddlewheel linked to a shut-off valve! HA!)
We're discussing coding and stuff...it sort of sounds like we might be doing some basic html... *goes starry-eyed at the idea of being able to do more fun stuff online*
I'm also very excited about choir right now. We're singing "Battle Hymn of the Republic," which we sing every year. Hell, my father sang that version of Battle Hymn when he was in high school back in the highest days of ancient Egypt. But then we're singing Z. Randall Stroope's "Homeland." I sang this song twice in high school, and I worship it! If anybody wants to hear a recording of it, I have the one my high school choir did. But it's beautiful--it could be about any country or place, and it's patriotic without being cheesy.
And then...we're doing "How Can I Keep from Singing?" *melts into a little happy-puddle of Candy-goo* I can't remember the composer/arranger's name, but it's the one with the blue cover. This will mark the third time that I've sung it, and I love it more and more every time I sing it. It's sooooooo beautiful, with a great message....and I'm going to brand myself a music nerd forever with this, but the key change makes me chordgasm. BIG TIME.
I'll probably post lyrics later, just to share the fun =D
