Because on top of everything else I'm doing, writing-wise, and my goal of finishing 30_nights and 30_hugs by Christmas...and my recent tackling of fanfic100...

I just signed up for NaNoWriMo.

50,000 words in one month.

I actually have *gasp* an original idea...I just need to develop it a bit before I actually start writing. But this means fanfics might go on hold for a little bit while I slave over my novel... ^^;;

NaNoWriMo is really an accomplishment if you finish it, though. And you've got a month to get all of your claims and such out of the way (or at least parts of them) so you can concentrate on NNWM next month. ^__^

I think I can do it. I once sat down and typed out ten thousand words in under two hours. I finished a fifteen thousand word chapter in one afternoon. I know I can do this...I just have to buckle down about it =)

I want to make sure all of my challenges are updated before the end of October. I don't know what'll happen...but I swear I'm going to finish Nights and Hugs by Christmas if it kills me!

Oh, shouldn't be too hard, as long as you're not too easily swayed by RL, socializing and the fanfic plunnies that always know when not to choose the moment to appear.
Oh, and don't write on paper. XcD That's what I did and it's a pain to count all the words/retype them. (Even if this does mean you can write in the bus/on the move :cD so maybe it's not so bad.)

Y'know, I might try and prod at my nano from last year maybe. humm...

(And crumbs, Nanomango seems interesting! :cO)
