Yet another reason that I love my little sister--the dumb things she says.

Let me explain something first. This kid loves ketchup. Loves it. Like, it's a food group.

Me: There's a scary story for ya to write, kid--the day the world ran out of ketchup.
Sis: *laugh* Yeah, I know.
Me: You'd probably eat a dictionary if they slathered it in enough ketchup and stuck it on a bun.
Sis: ...would that qualify as eating my words?

Love, love, love.

...and I just saw it on the news. South Dakota voters voted, 55% to 45%, NO on the anti-abortion bill.

Ahhh, SO concur on the ketchup love. But not just any ketchup, mind you: it MUST be Heinz. None of this Hunt's crap. XP

And what was the bill about? Here in NY, we (thankfully) had no propositions to vote on this year. But ugh, further proof that the world has gone in a death spiral, something that looks much prettier on ice skates.

Which reminds me: it's almost winter! Yay for skating on TV! ^_^

...I hate tomatoes in any form. I don't even really like ketchup all that much, but it's the one form of tomatoes that I regularly and willing eat.

It was an abortion ban--I really don't have a stance on abortion as a whole, but there are a couple of things I'm pretty stalwart on. And my big beef with this bill (and the reason I'm happy that it didn't pass) is that there are no provisions for rape or incest. It's only in the case that the mother's life is in danger. And THAT oversight bothers me. Big time. *steps off soapbox*

Yay for skating!! I loooooove watching figure skating ♥♥♥

Once upon a time, I hated tomatoes with a passion. Now, unless they're cherry tomatoes, they're splendiferiously scrumptious.

(Try to say splendiferously scrumptious five times fast.)

...I can't do it ^^;;

I just don't like tomatoes. I tried them, but I can't do it. Ah, well. Everyone has such a food, I imagine =P

Bananas used to be like that for me. And green beans. And mayonnaise. And peanut butter. Heck, for the longest time, I was a horribly picky eater.

The one substance I refuse to like is cola. Yep, clear sodas are fine, but no Coke or Pepsi shall ever pass these lips . . . voluntarily.

I love tomatoes, but the problem for me is that I rarely find any that are grown very well. XD; Most of them taste so durn dull or dry, or else they're too ripe. When I can find a perfect tomato, it is a victory for me!

So what about pizza? XD **curious.** Do you not eat it because of the pasta sauce stuff that has tomatoes in it?

Pizza...I'm very picky. If it has too much sauce, I will seriously wipe it off with a napkin. Or I won't eat it. There are certain pizza brands that don't bother me too much, but generally...yeah. But I don't eat spaghetti sauce. I do love a good alfredo sauce, though #^^#

On your Madrigal music, if I recall. I also kick puppies and choke cute fuzzy little squirrels.

[livejournal.com profile] ashleymouse is our latest addition to the Madrigal alto section. Pretty sure she's freakin' amazing. I wish you were still here--the three of us would be completely insane. I could almost pity PK...

I despise ketchup. From this moment forth, you are hereby allotted my ketchup ration.

p.s. Kudos to SD voters... I hear they were also voting on a medicinal marijuana referendum...

*passes ketchup ration onto Little Sister* I really don't like ketchup that much--it's the only tomato-food I'll eat, but if I don't have it, it's not the end of my world.

Yay for South Dakota!!

Er yeah... and that's the reason I'm not an elementary teacher w/ a reading endorsement.

PS the music teacher I work with tells me I missed my calling and should be a vocal music teacher... Hmmm....

xD Your sis = love.

Though I gotta wonder: is there a size limit to this dictionary? 'Cause I have one that, when I was decorating for Halloween y too short to reach the light hook on the short ladder, gave me an extra four feet (along with six small volumes from my encyclopedia set).

My sister puts ketchup on everything. Including, like, turkey. I guess our sisters are similar like that.

Abortion is the issue I feel most strongly about. *waves pro-choice flag around with vigor* Yeah, South Dakota!
