I remembered what I was going to post about!

Okay, so the third and fourth graders are having their program of fifties and sixties music, right? Well, we thought it'd be fun to have them do the announcements--ya know, welcome, thank you for coming, please turn off your cell-phones, etc.

Here's the three we thought up so far:

"Gentlemen, please keep your combs in your pockets." *kids pulls out comb and runs it through hair*

"If your poodle isn't sewn onto your skirt, please escort it outside."

"They didn't have cell phones in the fifties and sixties, so we don't wanna hear them.

Anyone have any other thoughts? Any and all suggestions are welcome!

EDIT: Well, I just some good news that can be summed up in two glorious words...

SNOW DAY!!!!

*grabs hot cocoa and crawls back into bed*

Aw.... if it makes you feel better, I'm snowed in with Ma, Pa, and the brother.... But I'm watching RENT and I've already had a nap. So it's not a total loss.

P.S. The poodle line is way funny, cute, and will get 'em rolling!
