First of all, does anyone know who makes these Eddie Izzard icons? Because I now have three of them and I'd like to A) see if there are more, and B) credit appropriately instead of simply saying [namewillgoherewhenIfindit]. I love the icons, I just feel bad because I don't know who to credit ;o;

And now...PICS!

View number one from my front porch. Trouble with the camera is that it doesn't do justice to the amount of snow blowing around out there...and the amount of snow that is blowing around out there is rather massive.

View number two from my front porch. I think you can see the snow blowing around a little bit more there. And if you look carefully, you can see my across-the-street neighbors out with their snowblower. I can't help but think it an exercise in...well, futility ^^;;

The view from the back door--that's the snow piled on our back porch against the slider. It comes up to my freakin' knee! ...anybody wanna go play in it? :3

And finally, just because it was there and I thought it needed some love, that's our grill. Here, you can REALLY see the snow flying and see how deep it is...well, how deep it is on our back porch. Which might not be totally accurate because the porch floor is made of slats, so some snow might sneak through to the downstairs patio.

Ooh, pretty pics! You're lucky you got a snow day. As always, here in NYC everything is business as usual. No snow days for us. :(

Welcome to Iowa, where the weather is controlled by a five-year-old with ADD!! Seriously, last week we had temperatures up in the forties. Now, we have THIS.

...I love my home state =P

Does it snow much in Croatia?

Usually; I live in a continental part of Croatia so we get plenty of snow during winter...this year though, we've barely had any and the temperatures are over 10 degrees celcius all the time...

It really wasn't even that there was a ton of snow falling--it was the wind blowing it all over the place that made the real mess XP

The stinkin' road graders haven't been through yet, so yep, that means Amanda gets ANOTHER SNOW DAY! I called into work, and they're all "Don't worry about coming in today or tomorrow!" and I'm all "OK."

Yay.

We live in a hilly part of town, and a woman actually came to our house while Dad was outside clearing out the driveway (I guess he was the only one out and about on the street) and asked if she could use a phone because her car wouldn't make it up any of the hills, so she needed to call for a ride.

It's not the snow so much as how slippery the roads get ^_^ But it's pretty to look at!

...people make comments like that, and it completely blows my mind. Possibly because I've lived in Iowa almost my whole life, where snow is a yearly fact of life. Wow...

*hugs on you anyway*

It's been so long since I've seen snow! And I had to drive up to the mountains in order to get to it. But back home, the closest thing I get to it is frost on grass. Which completely doesn't count. Californians wuss out once it hits below 50 degrees. But we already established this in one of your previous post. ^__^

...I can't imagine not seeing snow. But I've lived in Iowa for almost my whole life, so it's just another fact of winter for me.

*giggle* Silly Californians...but I love them anyway :3
