For what you had to work with, it was amazing. The only problems I had with it was with the recording, because it fuzzed up the voice and made it blare at points where I know you weren't blaring.

Yeah, I had to hold my cell phone about two inches away from my mouth so I wasn't blasting too badly--this was a lot better than the first recording I tried ^^;;

So I was right both ways! The original poem didn't have as many verses--somebody else penned a couple a long time later, and it became a traditional part of the song. Remember that piece we sang a couple years back? "Choral Variations on Amazing Grace" or whatever it was called? I loved that song :D

Geez, now I feel like singing just for the heck of it XD (not that anyone reads my LJ, but still). Well, I guess I did record myself singing to the accompaniment of this song I have to do in a recital type thing tomorrow, but that may or may not be for my ears only ^^;

Wow...you put a smile on my face today, by singing that song. I sing that song for my son every now and then, to calm him down. Today was a hard day for me, and listening to you sing, calmed me down a bit, and put a smile on my face.
