Well, State Large Group is done. I was the announcer and time-keeper.

...it was at least a hundred effin' degrees in that auditorium. And I was stuck in there all day. From eight-thirty AM until the last group finished around four, with about a half-hour break for lunch.

Let it be known that Candy-chan doesn't take heat well AT ALL. So...yeah. Feeling kinda sick right now D:

But...as the men's group from my school was walking off the stage, I got a big hug from the boy in our choir with Down's Syndrome. That made me smile a lot :D :D :D

Now I'm trying to get the demo to work for the next Nancy Drew game so I have something to look forward to in June (SQUEE!!) but the thing is being unbelievably slooooooooow. So now I'm going to go curl up downstairs (because it's always a LOT cooler downstairs than it is upstairs) and play my DS for a while.

...wait...I think the thing just finished...yay! Okay, maybe I'll start it up...ya know, just to check it out and all. In the name of science. For the sake of the rain forests and all.

But before I go, I must tell you that I have a new word. And it is a most awesome word.

MOOF!

*bows* That is all.

If I use your most awesome word....do I have to pay royalties?

Also, where did the subject of your entry come from...it sounds strangely familiar *is thinking of the Missa Gaia*

I believe the title of the entry is the name of a traditional Hebrew song.

Considering that it's "Zum Gali (Dance the Hora)" I think you might be right :)

It's actually one of the pieces the choir I student teach with sang for Large Group. It's called "Zum Gali (Dance the Hora)" so I think [livejournal.com profile] lightbird777 might be right about the translation :)

It was also Africa hot in the center where my kids sang. One of my favorite altos in the first group got sick almost immediately after we were done... I was sweaty! Ew. Anyways, so glad large group is done! We got a II for one group and a I for the other! So thrilled for those kids!

And yay for being done with the hard music! :)

I forgot...

Could we please turn down the heat from "hellfire" to something a little closer to "surface of the sun"?

See you soon!
