EDIT: I just found out that my aunt is dying--she'd had colon cancer, and it came back in her liver. Apparently, the end is pretty much imminent. I don't know her that well (since they live in Texas), but the few times I did see her, we always joked that I picked a good day to be born because she and I shared a birthday--October 30th.

Mostly I just need someone to keep my head level and calm because all of this just isn't processing right. I feel like I should be asking someone permission to go, but I'm almost 20, why should I ask for permission, but I also have work, plus I've never been to Chicago and I'm kind of going, "WHAT SHOULD I DOOOOO?" So, ah... if that explains anything?
