I just got home from my first day back at work. It was actually a pretty nice six-hour shift, surprisingly. Especially the last hour--which is usually the worst. I had just come back from my break and I had nothing to do, and I had worked pretty hard for the first four and a half hours, so Chong just let me kinda stand over by her and Huy while they were chopping stuff and we just chatted :D

While I was on break, I checked and found I had a voice mail from another girl who works there asking me to cover her shift for tonight, from five to close. I'm pretending I didn't see it. Because I am a horrible person like that. And because I have an interview tomorrow and I want to make sure I am rested before I go driving all over the state. And being on my feet for twelve hours isn't the way to do that. This concludes my public service announcement.

AND ZOMG TORIE'S PREGNANT!!! :D :D :D It sounds like it's going to be a girl, and she'll be due in October...and I'm totally not secretly hoping that the little one decides to appear on October thirtieth, nuh-uh, no way. So congrats, Torbo! LOVE YOU!!!

Vixie's wedding invite came in the mail. Note to self: RSVP @_@

Did anyone else notice ff-dot-net's new alert--you get alerted when someone adds you to their Fave Lists? I'm trying to decide if I like it or not...although my ego is sort of enjoying it ^____^

New Ghost Hunters episode on tonight--massive amounts of happiness there :D Last week's was pretty uber-creepy, so I'm hoping tonight's will be much the same. I intend to sit downstairs and scribble more ficcies in my notebook and be on AIM on my cell phone whilst I watch.

...I'm in a very good mood right now, can you tell? :D Might've been the seven episodes of Princess Tutu that I watched last night. I think I'm officially in love with that show--just need to finish watching it ♥♥♥♥♥

Ehehe...I got three this morning ^^;; My ego finds it flattering, but I'm still trying to decide if I like it or not =P It's weird.

Hmmm...bishies...I actually have just decided that I need to get into Bleach. And possibly One Piece, as I'm the only one out there who seems to...not be.

Lawlz. Can't blame you for ignoring the plead to take their shift. For the most part, they should ask further ahead of time, or ask a couple people. Good luck with your interview tomorrow!

I haven't been on FF.net in ages. I should look, as I've heard of several changes. Should maybe put the little Kid thing I wrote up there as well . . .

I've always meant to watch Princess Tutu~. I watched a little bit of it once and I liked what I saw, but more than anything, this AMV that [livejournal.com profile] insaneladybug showed me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsWAcXV2Cwc

Best part? I got a call from them later saying that she was a no-call, no-show, and I had to turn them down directly like that. And it kind of pissed me off--how much do we want to bet that she comes in and swears up and down that she called someone to take her shift? (That someone being me, of course.) *siiiiiigh*

I do keep posting my stuff over there--partially out of loyalty. That's really where I got my fanfic start, and I have quite a few readers in that area. So I keep it all up. I really need to link my fic-blog on there... *makes note*

It's soooooo pretty! :D I used to dance, though, so I have a special love of ballet. And it does start out as a sort of "Monster of the Day Magical Girl" series, but it's really developing, and we're only...what, ten episodes in? Love, love, love ♥

**nodnod.** I definitely would not want to have to do two shifts in one day, especially if I had something important I needed to get to the following day.

X3 FF.net's new changes are neat. There's also a little summary of people's accomplishments on the site at the beginning of their profiles, plus, when you're reading a story, you can see any Main Character listings the author put up.

It would be amusing if the kid gets born on October 3rd. XD That's my birthday.

Princess Tutu is so much love. X3 It starts out with some elements of a typical magical girls show not that I find anything wrong with that!, but then it gets so deep and intricate. Have you seen the first seven episodes, or have you watched further than that?

I'm seeing all these nifty little changes! It's kinda fun, actually! :D

My birthday's October 30th :D *high-fives*

I've noticed that--it started off really "Monster of the Day"-esque, and now it's starting to go completely sideways from that formula, and I love it! I think I'm up to around episode...ten or so? I had to stop in the middle of an episode because my sister was curious about what I was watching, and so I popped in episode one so she could see it. I think she was interested ^.~

So amazing moments in coincidence

So, I can understand that good feeling. I just got back from WIT's anime club, and we watched the first 9 episodes of that. I have to say I really liked it. One of the things made me think of one of the Icon's on your LJ, and made me wonder if you had seen it. Now I have my answer ^^

Of Princess Tutu? I used to dance, so it hits pretty close to home for me in that respect. That, and the music. And the animation. And the characters. And the twists of the storyline...

*le sigh of nerdiness* :D Unless you've watched more, it sounds like you're about in the same place I am, or I might be a little further along, because I was into the third volume... *can't remember exactly*

Dx I was able to stay awake through the tour through the Caves, but as soon as they started setting everything up I was dead to the world. Right now I'm so glad they show the new eps again a bit after they first air (so I'll totally be watching it at 11:30). Last week's was amazing, though. Gotta love how they were trapsing all over that rath like that; I was so expecting them to get screwed. xD

Anyways, g'luck on the interview!

SQUEE! *glomps fellow Ghost Hunters watcher* There wasn't much stuff in the actual investigation itself that WE could see (although watching Brian be afraid of the mannequins/dolls was kind of funny), but they got some freaky evidence during the review!

Last week's show = love. I was surprised I didn't have a nightmare about that one video clip with the face! Though my favorite ep is still probably the Augustine Lighthouse... :D *is a big nerd for paranormal stuff*

Thanks!

xDDDD The funniest thing about that ep, for me, didn't hanppen until the next day.

Mum had one of those morning talkshows on, and they were showing these new toys being released for the summer. One of 'em was a Barbie that had a cell phone/microphone, and depending which one was near her face she woud either talk or sing - and her face actually moved. All I could think about was Brian freaking out over the mannequins and how much he would freak if he saw that doll. xD

To be honest with you, I wouldn't cover her shift either before going to an interview the next day...

And FF-net doesn't only send you Favorite alerts, nooo - now there's even a brief description on our profile page about all the fandoms we've published stories for! I still have yet to decide whether I like THAT. ^_^;

I got a call from them at about five-fifteen, saying that she was a no-call, no-show, and asking if I could come in and cover it. I felt kinda bad having to say no because I wanted to get decent rest before the interview D:

I saw that, too! It's kinda of weird to see it all laid out like that...I knew I'd written at least one story for ten different fandoms, but...it looks so small when it's listed out like that ^^;;

I'm...maybe around halfway through the series-ish? I'm sort of thinking I might watch more today. I like to sit in the recliner downstairs and watch while I scribble ficcies in my notebook ^^;;

I don't watch a lot of AMVs anymore, unless someone recs them to me. But I'm already in love with this SONG!! :D :D :D People think I'm weird because I love songs in other languages--my sister thinks I'm nuts because I can listen to Japanese music for hours at a time ^^;; But that music video was AMAZING!

So, it means that you've aready watched the AMV))) It's really fantastic..haha
As far as I'm concerned, I also love songs in other languages...Japanese, Chinese..and even...Vietnamese))) I have one song in Viet language and it's so beautiful)))
And what comes to AMV, some time ago I downloaded them from the Internet, but now I watch them only if my friends give me some new AMVs. This AMV on Tutu has beed given to me by AMV maker)) But I loved it from the first sight *.*
I'm glad that you liked it!

That's sort of what I did, figuring that she'd hopefully find someone else...and instead I got a call from them later asking me if I could come in because she was a no-call, no-show. Then I felt bad because I had to turn them down D: Worst part is that the call came in at around ten-thirty (which was half an hour into my day shift), so she had a ton of time to find someone else!
