Regarding Furuba 17...this is easily the most interesting volume we've had in a while. And kaitodoushi and I had a LOT of fun talking about it over AIM. I would post it, but I think she was going to post it on her LJ, so I'll leave that to her 8D

01. The first character I first fell in love with
Kyou. He got my attention from the first moment he fell through the ceiling and started swearing at Yuki ~♥♥♥

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Ayame. At first, I was a little bit torn about him (I thought he was funny, but I was worried his character would get old REALLY fast). But now he's pretty much my favorite character.

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't
Hiro is the only character I can immediately think of that I don't really care for--don't know if anyone out there likes Hiro...

04. The character I love that everyone else hates
...I think the best way to put my feelings for Akito is that he intrigues me. I like him for that--wouldn't call it love, though.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer
I adored Shigure in the anime, but manga!Shigure kinda freaks me out. He's a lot...is sleazier the right word?

06. The character I would shag anytime
Kyou =D

07. The character I'd want to be like
Hana--it would be so cool to have her powers!

Rin. She needs to take a couple Prozac and snog on Hatsuharu.

09. A pairing that I love
I actually don't have much for this show in terms of OTPs, but if I had to pick one, I would say Kyou/Tohru...or I'm actually starting to like Uo/Kureno ♥

10. A pairing that I despise
Akito/Yuki--this has more to do with the way fandom usually seems to portray it than anything else, I think. If that makes sense -_-;;

01. The first character I first fell in love with
Aang. It was the first episode I ever watched--episode three at the Air Temple, where he found Gyazto's body. I wanted to hug him.

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
...would you believe Iroh? I guess the first few episodes I saw were ones in which he did not play a big role, so at first I thought he was just a side character. Now he's pretty much my favorite ~♥♥♥

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't
Jet. He's apparently got quite a fanbase, but he just never really struck that kind of chord with me.

04. The character I love that everyone else hates
Aang's Airbending staff. Totally unappreciated character, right there.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer
...Zuko's actions at the end of season two have me wondering. But I'll reserve judgment until season three continues the story.

IROH! Drinking tea and kicking ass, not necessarily in that order!

I'd say Azula...but she'd probably torch me. So we'll say Master Yuu, the Earthbending teacher who's hunting Toph. The guy's a pansy--he'd probably curl up and cry if I even gave him a harsh look *smirk*

Momo/Appa. Totally OTP. Okay, I really DON'T have a pairing for this series.

Ahiru--she won me over pretty quickly.

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Uzura! When she first popped up, I thought she would get annoying pretty quickly...but then we had the infamous "Donkey-lonkey lovey-dovey donkey!" moment, and I was completely enamoured of that little squirt ~♥♥♥

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't
I don't love Mytho, though I'm sure there are quite a few out there who do. Not to say that I hate him or anything, but...I certainly don't love him.

04. The character I love that everyone else hates
Does anyone hate Edel? Because I like Edel. And also on a random note, the Raven had an AWESOME character design.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer
At first, I thought Drosselmeyer was a cool, if quirky character...and then he turned out just weird. I like him...just not as much as I did initially.

I'll be predictable here--Fakir!

Kraehe. She manages to be so complex, and rather angsty, and yet still so awesome. Plus, she's probably the only character ever created who can wear a tutu and toeshoes and that hairdo, and still be a badass.

Autor. He looks like a pansy anyway.

It sort of surprises me (but sort of doesn't) that Uzura and Edel don't get more love. Because they both turned out to be absolutely awesome. But...at the end of the day, they're supporting characters. I should be happy with the Uzura icons I have :)

I thought the Raven's character design was AMAZING! Way more interesting than if he'd just been a huge bird in the literal sense, as opposed to the ominous shadow-esque form that took over the sky.

I agree--I paged through the Pretear manga and went BWUH?? I don't know if it was because I saw the anime first or what, but...yeah. I liked the anime a LOT better.

Sasame--I don't dislike him, but while his character development was pretty awesome compared to some of the other characters in the show, it did mellow my initial "ZOMG HE'S AWESOME" impression.
