I was going to do a rant in here about some stuff going on in my professional life, but I'm in a surprisingly good mood right now and don't want to ruin in with whining. So instead I'm going to prattle about fics for a little while and then link to my new post.

Are you getting sick of the updates? :D

Well, first things first--there's a birthday coming up on Thursday, and there will be a gift-fic for that featuring Shinichi and Ran (as requested). And then I had another idea for those two a while back that I was starting to work on...and then this morning I had THREE MORE PLUNNIES for the [livejournal.com profile] 30_ways challenge. Finish this by Christmas? I don't think that will be a problem.

I don't think it'll be too tough to make it to ten on [livejournal.com profile] 100fandomhell by the holidays, though. Five fics to write. Nothing too major. Not worrying.

[livejournal.com profile] 30_evil_deeds...starting to wonder if maybe I could up my goal to getting that into double digits. I've been at it for over a YEAR, and it's still only in single digits. We're getting that up to ten by X-mas or bust.

So now I'm turning my sights towards [livejournal.com profile] 30_friends. I have seventeen themes left to write for, and I'm trying to figure out if I could actually finish that by Christmas as well. It would be lovely if I could--and I swear to goodness, after I finish all of these I am swearing off theme comms!! AND NO, [livejournal.com profile] jeva_chan, I WILL NOT JOIN [livejournal.com profile] 30_deathfics!!

...bah. I'm thinking too much *bonks self* I should just keep writing and see where I end up.

New on [livejournal.com profile] candyfics: Nursing, featuring Aoko for [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100. This is number forty! My goal was to be to fifty by Christmas. I think I'll be a-okay on that one as well.

You're a writing machine. Like the Duracell Bunny, you just keep going and going and going.

A person can write a lot and still do other things. The key to that is if you are a fast typer. Sheesh, I've done NaNoWriMo (the first time, too) and wrote a term paper at the same time.

Ehehe...I bombed at NaNoWriMo. I bombed hard-core. Granted, that was also November of last year, at which point I was about a hair away from a total nervous break-down, so...I probably shouldn't hold myself to that standard, huh?

And I actually have a bad habit of scribbling fics or fic ideas on any writable surface and then bringing them home to type later >_>;;

Good point. Want to try again this year? I could help egg you on via AIM.

I found I can't handwrite stuff besides notes. I can't write fast enough to keep up with my thoughts.

I'm really debating on whether or not I want to do NaNoWriMo again this year...and whether or not it would be cheating to use the same idea again v_v I don't think I even broke 2,000 words on it last year. Is that cheating?

I'm the same way, but sometimes it's the only thing I can do. And when other things occur to me, I just scribble them in the margins and work it in when I get home to my computer ^^

If you want to use the same idea, that's okay. You just can't use what you've already written. ^_^

If I do writing in long form, it tends to be a mass of sentence fragments and prompts so I don't forget. If I have a specific way I want it to be written, I'll write it that way but it doesn't happen often. Though, to proofread and edit, I will print out what I've written and write all over it.

*mutters curse words under breath* Meh, I'll figure it out. Still not sure if I want to do it or not =P

I do a mess of all of the above. Depends on what I'm writing or thinking about or doing when the idea hits. As to proofreading and editing...I'm not very good at "remembering" to do those things ^^;;

YOU CANNOT WIN ME OVER WITH YOUR HEART-ING.

I've been practicing. It was called [livejournal.com profile] 30_hugs. It didn't work then, either.
