*does not like bugs*

There's a praying mantis on the wall in the stairwell of my apartment building. It's huge and blackish-green and seems to move around quite a bit. Every time I walk out there, it's someplace different. Today was the first time I ever actually saw it moving, though. I was walking downstairs to put in another load of laundry.

I always stare at it when I'm walking up or down the stairs because I'm sort of scared that it's going to fall on me v_v I reeeeeeeally don't like bugs XP

Man, is tomorrow really Monday again already? WHERE DID THE WEEKEND GO?? *emo*

Now to go put laundry away and figure out what I'm having for dinner...

Praying Mantises are awesome! I saw one in a parking lot once, thought it was dead, and poked it. I was tickled when it scuttled away.

I take it your just like me, it's nothing about them really it's more of a "just don't want them to touch me" thing right?

Here though it's mostly spiders flys and some kind of spider/fly hybrid -i forgot what it's called- (seriously I just think of them as flying spiders), at night there can be a moth or two aswell. Also the occasional wasp, and hell I've even seen woodlouce walking across my bedroom floor =-="
I miss the butterflys.

Out of all of them, it's the most common (the flys and the spiders) that bother me most. Not because of how they look, but they move so god-damn fast i'm scared one will come out of nowhere and start crawling up my leg or land on my head or something.
This one time I was on my bed watching something on the computer and this HUGE-ASS spider comes up the side of my bed and up my blanket and I spaz out really bad and couldn't be upstairs for about an hour +_+

Bugs tend to fascinate me sometimes...and sometimes they just scare the hell out of me. But praying mantises are pretty cool. Once, on a vacation, my friend and I had to move out of the room and to the second floor of the house because a bunch of little, black scorpions came crawling out of the cracks in the wall... o.o;
