candylandMy subject line was seen on the T-shirt of a fellow teacher at yesterday's meeting.
This morning I opened my eyes and looked at the clock. It said 6:24.
I was so out of it that I actually surged out of bed and went flailing around, thinking, "I'VE ONLY GOT TWENTY MINUTES TO SHOWER AND GET TO SCHOOL! I'M GOING TO BE LATE! OH MY GOD!" It wasn't until I stumbled to my computer and looked that I saw 6:24 AM, and realized, "Wait...I don't get up until ten to seven. And I don't have to be to school until a quarter to eight...BACK TO BED!! WHEE!!" *runs down hall, jumps into bed, and snuggles down for another twenty-five minutes of sleep*
I have a mentor meeting tonight. Boo hiss...the last one only lasted about an hour, really, so they're not usually too bad. But we've only had two mentor meetings so far, and thus far BOTH OF THEM have managed to fall right when there are millions of other meetings piling up. The first one hit on the day of our conference meeting. This one is sandwiched in between yesterday's staff development (of EVIL) and tomorrow's Music Booster meeting.
And I may or may not have company this weekend (*crosses fingers*) so tonight I will be doing laundry and cleaning ^^ Well, I need to do them either way, but with mah schedule this week, best to get it done tonight, when I know I'll have the time for it!
Playing the Flyswatter Game with my middle schoolers today. They have a test on Friday, and this is how we're going to review. I think this is going to be fun and crazy ^_~
Regarding fics...I knew it would happen. I've been writing and posting like crazy for the last what, two months? And now I think I'm reaching the end of this streak. I don't know what it is about October and November, but they murder my plunnies. Murder them in cruel, evil, vindictive ways. That may involve sporks. Not quite sure.
